So I pretty much wake up now to the idea of playing in the school, and I figured to quench my thirst a little I would look up cqb tactics and get your guys' input on the idea.

First thing I found was a youtube channel with a bunch of guys from Canadia. While I'm not going to go and wrap Paul on the balls to signal I'm ready for room entry, I think these guys really do have some helpful information. Plus there is a nicely captured cqb airsoft game which shows different tactics more specific ...

In all of this rules discussing I thought i would bring up a topic. Your in a game, you here or see a bb hit off your stock or your barrel. In real combat situations the gun would be toast if a bullet caught it on the barrel or in the receiver.

Personally I am all for realism and say that if the gun is hit you have to put it down, sling it, etc. and use your side arm. If you don't have a sidearm or a backup you can matyr or just go out.

What do you think?

So, as many of you know, I took a few nasty hits at the SAAL game. The most prominent ones being my forehead and my lip. As it turns out, the hit to the lip actually punctured through to the other side, and saliva, not water as I though, had been seeping through all day. Now, I have heard many people complain on the forum about having "scars for life" from hits like this, and I'm here to tell you that when cared for properly these little pecs in your skin can be healed over without ...

While it is important to know tactics and basic strategy is is equally important to know when to utilize them. This isnt a tutorial or a guide on when to use what tactics, rather it is a commentary on what I believe to be the best plan of action on our most common field, Area 13.

When we were about to play a game the other day, the Green Team was waiting at the NorthBase for the game to begin. While going over our plan, one of the players suggested to me that we form a wedge. Its not that ...

Description:

The unit is strung out along a line, with a fireteam leader (point man) in the front. The point man covers the front of the formation, and each person should alternate his direction of observation (i.e., #2 in line covers to the left, #3 looks right, #4 looks left, etc.), and the man in the rear typically handles the rear when 360 degree security is needed.

Advantages:

1) Allows for very fast movement.

Applying Your Face Paint Camouflage

It’s not enough that you have all the colors of a camouflage face paint set. It is equally important to know the surroundings where you plan to operate. Study the vegetation and the terrain of your enviroment. This will give you a clue as to the face paint colors that you will need. Aside from the face painting, you also need to don appropriate camouflage clothing for your enviroment. Your camouflage face paint will be of no use if your camouflage attire does not complement your makeup.

We'll start easy, with some basic IndividualMovementTechniques and stances that are widely known and easy to use.

The Standing Position: You are standing fully with your legs fully upright. Even if you are bent over, you are still in the standing position if you legs ...

Alot of people are confused about what makes good camouflage. Some argue that the proper pattern is the key, while others argue that it is a matter of movement and concealment. The truth is a combination of the two, in this topic I will attempt to explain what makes an effective camouflage scheme and how to apply this scheme successfully.

Pattern:

The pattern of your camouflage is very important, as it will be the main factor in blending you in to your surroundings. When searching ...
