Well, my AGM GBB M4 just got in the mail today. All I can say is that it feels really solid. And the magazine. It weighs a TON. Like a pound and a half if I ventured a guess. Although I think that's about what a real loaded mag weighs. I don't have any GG or a propane adapter, so I can't really do a test. But I went to the store and got some duster, and I'm trying to fabricate a duster adapter right now. So once the gorilla glue dries, we'll se if that works. And I'll be bringing it on saturday, so could someone please bring a propane can?

Haha. I had a propane adapter, but I sold it when I sold my TM 1911. I'm not a big fan of pistols as far as them being useful/effective, so I don't have any GBB's besides the M4. I do have a can of propane though, so watch your mouth

    But yeah, it's a teaser.

    Well, I painted it:

The mag was originally VERY tight in the magwell, so I sanded down the magwell some, and it's better now. I went to HobbyTown USA yesterday and picked up a can of GG. The GG is already gone, because I was having mag leaking problems. Turns out that the mag was just completely dry, and the valve was sticking, so after thoroughly lubing it with silicon oil and tightening some screws, it works great. I wasted most of my GG before I fixed the mag, so I only got about 20-30 minutes of HappyFunTime out of the gun before it ran out, but it's AWESOME!! OK, accuracy leaves something to be desired (I haven't cleaned or waxed the barrel yet), but the rate of fire is wonderful and the range is pretty good. It's extremely realistic in operation. It looks pretty real on the inside (even has a mock star chamber), breaks down just like the real one. Also, the recoil is AMAZING!! I'd say maybe 50-60% of what the real one is. I was honestly expecting recoil slightly greater than .22lr, but it's really something else.

The recoil is really that strong?

Wow I am glad that you like it. Are you going to keep it with gg/propane or going to go to an hpa type set up? Also how many shots do you get out of one mag and how many rounds does it hold?

Does HPA help do away with shootdown such as I have experienced with GBB pistols? I have vast experience with HPA and Nitrogen in the paintball world, but have never given it much consideration for airsoft application. I apologize for thread jacking, and your M4 looks good...again lol

Yeah the HPA is used lots in gas sniper rifles and helps especially with consistency. Most people use CO2.

CO2 always has problems in paintball such as causing your gun to freeze up. CO2 has also been known to give massive velocity spikes based on outside temperature and a host of other factors. I assume these problems would also occur in airsoft?
