    Guarder AEGs Empty Guarder AEGs

    Post  Guest 05.07.09 10:53

So I ws looking around on the internet and came across the Guarder AEG series. I know that Guarder makes some quality aftermarket parts for AEGs, but does anyone know how their AEGs stack up?

Well, maybe (hopefully) their AEGs are built out of thier aftermarket parts....if so, I would be all over one.

I stumbled upon them at Evike, the description isnt much to go off of however, seeing as though evike laudes WELL's internals as "reliable and strong", it says nothing about the internal specifications save "Steel and Aluminum!!"

What I do know is that the AEG models are based off of the Asian ouncterparts of the M16/M4 families, it looks as though even the selector switch is in an Aisan language on one of the models. They run from 280$-320$. I tried to serach for it on google but I all got were reviews on Guarder's aftermarket parts.

Then Electioneer would most likely be the source for more info . . . AIRDOG has a connection to EVIKE too though . . .

It's not actually a Gaurder product. It's made by (I think) a small Taiwanese company called Lihyang, and Gaurder simply slapped their name on it and distributed it, kind of like what E1 does. There aren't any Guarder parts in it, it's kinda crappy on the inside, uses proprietary gears (no upgrades), and uses a custom kind of battery.

    Here's a quote from AirsoftCanada:

Sigh. In the end these AEGs are not field worthy.

Guarder pushed them as preupgraded AEGs, but they said nothing about the mechbox. The stock gears are plastic. The demo model I powered up has already shredded it's bevel gear despite only firing a few rounds. I'm not sure if it's possible to refit them for TM mechboxes, but they're certainly garbage if they don't release metal gears.

Such a shame because the bodies are pretty well made. I don't know how they thought they could get away with 380fps and plastic gears. Guarder mentioned to me that they were planning to release upgrade components for these AEGs. I'll have to see if I can get them to do some metal gears. These AEGs are not saleable with the stock plastic gears.

Gaah. I have three of the damn things and they're not saleable as game guns until Guarder releases metal gears...

Stay far, far away from these things.
