Finally!!!

I've been knowing that the Army was starting to issue Multicam ACUs, because one of my friends was issued a set in his last unit, and I saw a press release saying that the Army was going to field Multicam with the 173rd AB on their next deployment to Afghanistan. So this sealed the deal for me.

That other camo pattern there feilding is so fugly,its much worse than acu imo. I have a picture of it somewhere ill go find.

I agree corbin. It looks bad. but....

you gotta think about mountains in afghanistan (which is what is is designed to blend in with). It looks like it would be pretty efffective for that kind of terrain.

Hopefully i will get some MC soon!

I was at the Army/ Navy in Forrest Pk last week and the owner said surplus ACU's are going to be plenty full and dirt cheap soon due to the MC change over.

regular flecktarn looks so much better than that thank god

You know what else looks fugly? An AC-130. Still gets the job done big time and kills a whole lot of people even though its design is as a transport. Pretty uniforms dont mean anything. The only thing that benefits from being pretty is a knot.

Hold on! yes i have to put my word into this. The Army may be switching to MC But there not going to switch everyone for those who read, I wont call out names however the ArmyNavy stores probley wont be selling ACUs really super cheap like BDUs.

The Army will still be using ACU (Stateside), but they will use the MC and ACU-D in Afghanistan. I have a few friends down here who have already been issued Multicam ACUs (but not as a uniform that they can wear here, stateside).
