Grease just bought a new G&G carbine and Famine has a gen2 KWA and Anthony from Squad 144 has a KWA too. They will all be at Op Morphine with them if you want to check them out tho I know that KWA just released their new ones. I am sure you can turn up a G&P too.

Im not really happy with my G&P. The gears are worse than any clone I have had, plus I havent been to happy with a few other things. With the parts I had to replace to get it up to par with my requirements I could have bought a better gun. For the initial price of the G&P I expect better.

KWA all the way. The Gen 1s are great, I own the M4A1. Never let me down thus far. The Gen 2s are looking ridiculous.

From my personal experience, which I have alot of concerning KWA and G&G, you need to look at what you want from the gun. If you want stock performance, as in excellent accuracy and good range with a more than pleasing ROF, the G&G is the way to go, but if you want reliability and great ROF, go with KWA. I can't speak for the KWA Gen2s as I have never used one before.

Just got my G and G gr16 carbine (full metal version) and its sick. Accuracy and range are outstanding which suits the way I play. Gun feels great externally , just be carefull if u try to take off the flash hider. Those turds are glued on and I broke my upper receiver when cranking on it with all my might. The best shooting gun I've used so far.

    ON TOPIC!!!

This is the second thread I've had to clean in the past 10 minutes. Honestly if it's something in the off-topic forum or whatnot I don't care as much, but if someone's asking a question, try not to clutter up their thread.

KWA: I owned a KWA G36c back in the day. It was a great gun. Those gearboxes are honestly awesome. Motors are pretty good too. The accuracy was kinda crappy. And the hopup units are pretty tight, so it might be hard to fit an aftermarket bucking. A Prommy buckings a definate no, but something like a Systema Enhance of a Firefly would probably work. My only other complaint is that the tabs on the hopup unit were weak and broke. The GB shells are crazy. The piston is still going strong in my M14 (on an M130), with a little bit of wear, but not much. The gears are where the gun truly shines. When I short-stroked my sector gear to work with a highspeed piston, I broke a Dremel cutting head on the first tooth and had to switch to a reinforced cutting head. The next 2 1/2 teeth wore down a good quarter of that reinforced cutting head, which is no small feat. Also, the gears are shimless gears, which means that you'll have less of a hassle if you want to clean and regrease your GB.

G&G: I've also been inside a G&G or two. The radius job on the GB shell was pretty good. The gears are nice, as is the piston. The shim job was pretty good as well. In short, the GB was real nice, but it didn't blow me away. The accuracy on stock G&G's are pretty good, and the RoF is great as well. The RoF on a G&G is going to be about the same as a KWA, but remember that a KWA will shoot about 400 FPS as opposed to the 340 or so of the G&G. The G&G externals are nice, but I personally think the finish on a KWA looks more like a real-steel.

G&P: Not a whole lot of experience in this dept, so most of this is just stuff I've heard. However, I did get a chance to shoot Reed's old G&P M4, and the RoF was great, and the externals were superb. I've heard that the piston and gears are just OK, but that the GB shells are real nice. G&P motors are great. I've heard reports of electrical troubles.

SO, if you just want a gun that shoots good, at a good FPS, and you don't want to have to mess with it, go KWA. If you maybe don't mind popping in a spring, checking the shim job, and maybe a couple of other GB upgrades, go G&G. If you just want externals and plan on replacing the gears and piston, go G&P.
