hey guys im looking for a decent airsoft team. I have played at george town here in Georgia, but I play at parks with a few friends mostly since I do not have a job or a car. My guns are classic army m15a4 carbine, a&k m249, and a utg l96.

Well my advice for looking for a team is to just go out and find a team to play with for awhile. Then you roll with different teams to see which one you like best. Our team (Fatal Ops) is always looing for players. Some teams have requirements though: uniforms, loadouts, and so on. Hope that helped Very Happy

Yeah I agree.. come out and play with some of the local teams.. If you enjoy one in particular attempt to contact them and join.. and btw the Legion is always looking for new members to add.. drop us a line if you are attending the game this weekend.. We will be there..

You may want to post your information. Where you play, guns you use, gear you have, experience in the game and so on to give everyone a better idea of who you are.

In all honesty, I wouldn't worry about getting on a team too quickly. The LAST thing you want to do is join a team that's not a good fit for you. You want to make sure of is that you find a team who's playing style is in line with yours. The example I always bring up in this respect is my team, Dagger Unit, and another team, Immortal Casualties. We're both decent teams, and we're all pretty good friends, but our styles of play are totally different. IC specializes in more of a direct, fast paced, in-your-face kind of play, and the team is made up of a bunch of gun techs that are obsessed with building guns that fire 50+ rounds a second, whereas DU focuses a lot more on maneuvering and stealth, so our pace is naturally a little slower. One style isn't necessarily better than the other, but the main idea is that you want to find a team that suits your style of play. You don't want to be someone who is sneakier than the invisible woman at a ninja convention and find yourself with a team lead who doesn't really focus on stealth as a means of beating an opponent. And the only way to make sure that a team is right for you is to play a lot and play with a couple different teams over a six-month period or so.

And like just some kid said, don't forget to consider team uniforms/loadouts when you join a team. On DU, there are a couple of guys who are complete gear whores who really want specific uniform and loadout requirements, but there are also a couple of guys that are content to wear a full loadout that costs less than $100, so that's one of the things to watch for.

Great post Admin, definately defines the difference between my team and your guys team. I thought it was funny. Yeah bro dont be too worried about finding a team too quickly like Admin said. For my team we really dont have requirements but for the most part we all do like to match because it looks BA. But also just abotu everyone on our team has a gun shooting 40+rps and 2 soon to be 5 p90s that spit out over 70rps. Our style is much more of a powerhouse team, we love to go out there and just lay down some fire. My team also loves playing with DU because we are good friends with them and we play really well together. It sorta completes our weaknesses by joining together. I know my team is only 7 guys because we like to keep our special name to only a small group of guys, while I know DU is slightly larger then ours. So just come out, introduce yourself, I know I wont be there cause of college but the rest of my team will be, and just run with some of the teams out there.
