OP: F.E.A.R. - Role Player Guide

AIRDOG has completed another element of the game as we approach the kick off of the official advertising campaign for OP:F.E.A.R. (07/01).

The guide is complete with uniform requirements and other information that will be helpful for players to get into the respective roles.
We encourage players to prepare their uniforms accordingly and dress the part as much as possible.
Use your creativity and reference pics from the game and on the net to create your best F.E.A.R uniform.

I hate to say it, but I am thinking Replicant (that is the BAD GUY right?) I have my old SWAT entry vest that is black. Take out all the armor and wear over woodland BDU's. I also have an extra K-pot that I could paint black. hhhmmmmmm........

Looks like they all have SL8 variants. I may have to fiddle with mine tonight and see what I can come up with. I dont have the actual SL8 top rail though...

Ill definitely be replica though.

I'm torn between replica's and F.E.A.R. Ughhh

If you can pull off the costume I say go Replica! Anything to bring authenticity to the game will only help to establish the creepy atmosphere, and overall enhance gameplay.

Woodland bdus Black set of football shoulder pads some black knee pads & a motorcycle helmet would be almost exactly what the Replica soldiers look like

i am stuck from assissin and F.E.A.R sniper. i guess i will just have to see maybe dad has an opinion on this one.

If I can make it out, Im probley going to go with the private contractor team..

You fight failed replicas and scarecrows in the real game so maybe they can be a part of the OP.

Pro-tip : You can kill failed replicas and scarecrows in the game. When have you ever been able to kill Alma in the game? Never. Relate this directly to the OP.

I am now thinking NIGHTCRAWLER. Downside....no headgear--*OUCH*--although it looks like one of the pic's looks like I could wear a black fleece cap. Still thinking of painting my MICH black and wearing that. I just need to get some black BDU pants.

If I keep my (real) armor in the entry vest, can I play as if I have real armor??? Is the NightCrawler some sort of super mutant/hard to kill SOB?

There is a role you can play in which your armor will indeed act like real armor, the Replica Heavy, however players will have to work to unlock the ability to use it. As for being a NightCrawler, I think it would be awesome if you headed up the nightcrawler team. Perhaps pick up a few of your guys and have a really highspeed squad running a muck inside the mill.

The NightCrawlers are a third party Mercenary team employed by an unknown U.S. Senator to accomplish goals of their own (in the case of our airsoft OP, deter both US and ATC forces from completing their objectives) They are among the most skilled enemies you fight in the game, however fall prey to Alma's psychic control. Pretty much, you play on the side of the paranormal characters.

Team ARAD will be part of the Nightcrawler force.
They will serve as escorts for Alma during parts of the game and will have some Top Secret stuff to deploy during the game.
I would like to limit the Nightcralwer force to 5 or less.

Registration will be up next week (07/01) and we will try to fill players on a first come first serve basis.
Just keep in mind the uniform and other requirements.
