The Spetznas soldiers have very rough upbringings according to my co-workers(who are Eastern European, grew up in the USSR.), they are all chosen from orphanages by the Russian Army, and are molded and built to be 100% combat killing MACHINES. Most of them have no family, no worry about anything outside of their job. Pretty crazy to think about..not having a family, no friends(other than your comrades), and just 100% brutality for their training. May as well be a modern way to train, for Spartans..send them off, beat the crap out of them until they feel no pain, teach them how to kill, teach them how to shed off their emotions. And you have a recipe for disaster, for whoever gets in their way.

The soldier fired more than 400 rounds, launched 17 grenades and detonated a mine to thwart the Taliban assault on his checkpoint near Babaji in Helmand Province, southern Afghanistan, last September.

At one point, after exhausting all his ammunition, he had to use the tripod of his machine gun to beat away a militant who was climbing the walls of the compound.

It doesn't matter if the cover is on. If you shoot with both eyes open you can still see and aim at something despite a cover on the red dot. Twitch can confirm this. I've tried it myself. If you try it, you'll see that it works too unless if you're not used to aiming with both eyes open.
