            • "Top Regional Airsoft teams such as Blackheart 6, Blackwater, Elite Ops, Zero Hour, S.A.S. all girl team Black Sunset competing for $500.00 first prize, $300.00 second prize and $100.00 third prize. This is true spectator event with 100 tickets available on Xorbia.com On May 25th, Elite Ops debuts it's amazing 60ft air conditioned, full viewing area. We need your support so even if your team isn't playing on this first one, buy a seat and come be a part of something really special...and airsoft contest with an audience!!!!!" -Curits Clark (Manger of Elite Ops)

The Registration is closed to compete, we only let six teams compete. But there'll be another warehouse wars, where different teams can compete. But for this warehouse wars, you should come and watch these teams. I believe it'll be really awesome. I work at Elite ops, and my Manger is trying to make Airsoft into a spectator sport. So if you can make it, you should come out and support the teams. My team will be playing this and we'd love an audience. (:

Third! While I dont know many of the teams besides blackwater, whenever money is involved, I can see a lot of arguements possibly arriving from this. I know Elite Ops has quite a few refs though...we shall see how this turns out.

Now I am a huge Airdog supporter, but Airdog tried something like this out once...and well, we all know how that turned out.

Seriously though, good luck with this, anything that tries to increase support for airsoft is a good thing, and thats what I believe the ultimate goal of this is.

Well each team brings ref so it's unbiased and all that. Plus refs that work there. My money is one SAS or Team Elite ops. I've seen both of these teams play and they're playing. I've personally played with team ELite ops and there a bunch of really talented players and i've seen SAS play a couple times. I've played them in the ACA team at SS airsoft.

MAY 25th at Elite Ops Indoor Airsoft Arena
    857 Hickory Flat Hwy
    Canton, Georgia"

I think you guys should check out this live stream of the Warehouse wars event if you can't make it. I've seen all these teams practice up at Elite ops the past two weeks, and there's going to be a real fight for the prize. I know you guys are all worried about cheaters, but it's airsoft, and there's more fun there will be cheaters. Honestly, there will be eight Refs and I personally know the captains of each one of these teams. Also me and Deon from Jaguar 12 will be hosting this live stream, and what's cuter then a little orange-haired p90 chick and a skinny black guy talking about airsoft? (:

I do not see this working out well at all. After the one tournament we played in and won we have never had any interest in going back. It raises too much conflict, some teams just are not meant to play tournament style of play, BlackWater is a prime example. When we played with them at Gold Eagle they broke up the teams, IC vs BlackWater. And of course the 60 other players divided between our two teams, as players came up to us some actually said crap we are gonna lose. We looked confused and said to them why is that? They knew we were the more dominant team but they said to us "because you guys actually call your hits, BlackWater never calls anything." We just laughed because we knew it was true. I would never play for more then fun against those guys.

You know CQB doesn't really work for me when it comes to airsoft.. I guess because we train to do it in real life WITH REAL firearms and simulating real conditions. In airsoft, it's more "I know I hit you first", "No I hit you first", "Dude I definitely saw you coming I hit you, I didn't feel anything hit me", "Alright let's call each other out", "No I hit you, you're dead", etc.

I have no tolerance for stuff like that anymore... irl, CQB is a different story. My problem is with airsoft is it's a honor sport and it does require some integrity to play it. The problem with that is A LOT PEOPLE DON'T HAVE THE INTEGRITY TO PLAY THE DAMN SPORT. You feel bad you got hit coz you think you're hooah highspeed jonny ranger SF operator so you look around and hope no one sees you get hit. Yep CQB airsoft doesn't work for me anymore, I'd just end up sitting there with a pissed off look on my face wishing I was actually kicking down doors and slinging real lead rather than hoping my plastic bbs would make that one guy admit he got hit.

There's eight Refs on the field. It's unbiased because the team will never be playing when there Ref is reffing. There's camera's everywhere for the whole audience to watch. I see this working very nicely. I admit, Black Water doesn't call some hits. But when the pressure's on, you call it. The team's did practice for this tournament, I personally played them and Team Elite Ops and I think Black Heart 6 did too. They called everything I shot, and there wasn't any complaints from any of the others. Some people claim Black Heart 6 are the biggest cheaters out there, but a bad rep is a bad rep, doesn't mean it's going to ruin a whole tournament. It's fun when your hobby can make you money, and it's fun inviting your family and friends to watch you play. The object of the Warehouse War series is to try and make airsoft into a spectator sport. It's going to be hard to cheat in this tournament, and if a player does, they risk 500$ and they lose any hopes of having a good rep. I have hope in this, because so far, it's going pretty well. We practiced how the tournament is going to go and no one cheated during that. Razz

and I hate CQB, but I like the way Elite Ops is set up. It's one of the biggest fields in southeast Georgia and speeds things up. It's a lot faster then out door airsoft, and it requires you to be a lot more tactical. I like them both(:

There's always cheaters and all that. But I never really cared all that much, 99% of people call the hits I give out. I'm there to play. Plus half the time the winds curving or you can't see where the BB's hitting. People getting angry over a game is silly. xD

" People getting angry over a game is silly"

This may be true, but how many people get mad over money? Lots of people. Stops being a game when cash is involved. Then it becomes a competition, through and through.

when i raced motorcycles in both amateur and pro levels, it was mostly for fun. if it was all about the money, you will only see 3 factory backed teams and zero privateers. evidently, the field is mostly filled with teams that race for fun. this holds true with many hobbies/sports. they play because they enjoy the hobby/sport. very few can actually make a living from the prize money.

airsoft is no different. players will compete mostly for fun. if money was more important than entertainment, then no one would be spending what they have on all their airsoft addiction. airsoft would remain a backyard game.

the real money comes in when manufacturers get involved with the competitions. i don't see this happening in the U.S. in the next 10 years.

KSK is not a dedicated team. they are a coalition of other teams located around Fayette county. Mad Crew also joined that coalition for the event. I'm not sure if any of your team members violated any policies, but that should be handled internally and shouldn't affect KSK.

as for the competition itself, the players called their hits appropriately. there were disagreements about players not calling their hits by opposing players. this is normal and not exclusive to competitions. the refs were not influenced by the hosting arena. we were given full control of the field and did what we could to make the game fair. i even called out zander when i knew he didn't get hit. he normally surrenders before even getting hit. the live feed i was broadcasting showed him flinching during a game. he was behind cover and was flinching from the nearby sounds of bb's hitting the plastic wall covering next to him. the audience and organizer saw him flinch and i made the call to remove zander from the game.

were there no hit calls? of course there were. but to be fair, i also took out a few players suspected of not calling their hits. this put a balance on the playing field and also put alot of pressure on the volunteer refs. shadowing the players also put alot of pressure on them to call their hits. being watched both by video stream and by internet webcast put a new level on the game.

since blackwater entered the game with a reputation of not calling their hits, the refs were instructed to closely watch them. i myself was broadcasting the local video field to the audience during the blackwater game. it was painful shadowing them through crossfire, but they did call their hits. in my opinion, there where much less no hit calls during this competition then on normal game days. we had eight volunteer refs on the small field and two mobile cameras.

it was very interesting watching how each team played. unfortunately, my video feed didn't have recording capabilities. hopefully, that will change on the next event.

If KSK wants to form a coalition with Apex. I highly suggest they contact me instead of trying to steal my members. I find this behavior subversive and unprofessional.

KSK is not a formal group. just a bunch of players enjoying the sport in a competition. i doubt very much there were any attempts to steal members. they were inviting anyone to play so as to reach the 8 player goal. they were short by one. as i mentioned, if you disapprove of your members helping out others, then make it clear with your team.

as for being unprofessional, during my professional racing years, it was common practice for teams to ask other teams for help when they are short of crew members. unless it's a sponsored team, individuals are voluntary and are not committed to be exclusive to that team. in other words, team suzuki members are restricted from helping team honda. but privateers are obligated to help out other privateers. if airsoft is to grow as a sport, then it should have the same courtesy as other established competitive team sports.
