I just wanted to see how you guys would spend 600 bucks if you had it to blow on airsoft.
Here's the scenario: You have your load out complete, Goggles,BDU'S,Boots,Vest, etc.
You need: 2 AEG's, mag's for both, slings, batteries, charger,BB's and scope's(if you wanted scopes but not necessary)

I thought it would be interesting to see and could possibly help me make a purchase in the future.

    G&G GR-16 ; 260$ from ASGI including battery, buy an extra 450rnd Hicap Waffle mag (25$), no sling, 4000KSC .25s for 12$

That leaves 310$ or so for the next AEG,

Echo1 G36c, 135$ including battery, buy a 6.03TBB Prommy, 45$, firefly hopup bucking and new nub, 30$, then buy an extra echo1 G36 470rnd Hicap, 30$, buy 5000KSC .2s , 12$, then a charger for both the batteries, 30$. That should leave a little bit of money for Zaxby's.

THe G&G already has a TBB, good hopup and accuracy, and shoots at around 380fps, so it wouldnt need anything internally to be a great field gun. The Echo1 G36c already has good FPS, around 350, and would only need those barrel and hopup add ons to be accurate enough to call a great field gun. My philosophy is accuracy over rate of fire in all situations, so some people might disagree with those choices, but its just what I would do.

Do you mean they would be our ONLY two AEGs or just two more to add to the stable??
    If only then:
    1) A&K LR300S ($180) with an A&K 5000 drum mag ($60)
    2) A&K SPR MOD 0 ($200) with DB 6.01TB ($60) M140 spring ($20) steel tooth piston and BB head ($50)
I'd spend the remaining $30 on .30 Golden Ball BBs for the SPR.
You can run the 450 round mag from the LR in the SPR for when you want larger capacity.

If they were just additional guns I'd likely be throwing in a more dedicated bolt action sniper and an A&K M249 para. . .

This is getting interesting. And yes it would be the only AEG's in your arsenal.

Hey Aggressor Dog, I've always had my eye on that GR16. Funny you mentioned it.
And Tinman that LR300s is looking kind of nice to me now too.
Keep it coming everybody. I love seeing different opinions.

That's a good setup. However, the firely nub won't work with the Echo 1/JG G36c. Also, the G&G GR-16's only shoot 330-350.
But I just put a firefly bucking and firefly nub into my little brother's Galaxy MP5K. The thing is almost as consistent as my SOC16. Also, the package on ASGI comes with BB's, so you won't need extras right off the bat.

However, the firefly nub won't work with a G36 hopup.

What I'd do is get the G&G M16, and a G&G M14 + firefly bucking and a pair of M120's, and an extra mag, bb's, etc. for both. Then sell the stock springs on the forum.

I also agree with accuracy>RoF. But that doesn't mean RoF has no use. It's good to have one or too guys on the team with lots of RoF upgrades.
