Re: Some edited pics
He isnt. Its just the angle of the picture. And he is probably leaning slightly to the right so he can shoot around the wall while minimizing the amount of his body he is exposing.

Re: Some edited pics
Sry for the slight necro post....Twitch is right, I tend to get behind cover then slightly lean out to engage targets. The angle is not real good so it does look like I am about to shoot the wall. I try to keep my shooting "real world" since I do this for real.

I've used a camera with a PVS 14 attachment on it. Picture quality was very low, you can't take a clear picture outwards of 15 meters. But it was still kinda cool.

Re: Some edited pics
Those look good. But the thing that gives it away in the 2nd one is the shadows. No shadows at night obviously

GO SLAP YOURSELF YOU!!! THEN GO TELL YOUR TEAM LEADER YOU NEED NIGHT VISION FAMILIARIZATION TRAINING!!!
If you are anywhere there is a light source, there will be shadows, even if that source is the IR beam on your PVS-14's.

Re: Some edited pics
If your looking for shadows by looking at the light....your looking the wrong way. Sometimes it's the shadow that helps you find the person/object you are looking for.Try this:14's, dark room, IR light. You can hold your hand up to cover the light.....shadow.

Re: Some edited pics
will direct flashlight hurt gen 1? i've been bidding (and losing) on used gen 1 nv riflescopes on ebay.
i was originally going to get digital NV but since i'm bifocal, close up viewing is difficult.

Re: Some edited pics
Once apon a time, in the Army of long ago, we were told NEVER shine a light at someone in NVG's, and NEVER use them in day time without the day time cover. Why? It will burn out the....thing(technical term) that makes them work. I can't remember the name of the device, and it is too early for my grey matter to function correctly.
