Anybody do much shooting?

Hey, just wanted to see how many of you guys had ever shot a gun/shoot regularly.


Me and my dad sometimes go out and blow holes in trees with his Remington 870 20G (i think thats it)

But what do you guys like to do?

I have a 1946 Mosin Nagant 7.62X54R. It only holds 5 rounds(with 1 chambered) But it is as simple of a rifle as you will ever find and it sounds like a cannon when you shoot it. We go to the free shooting range down at West Point. If you happen to have a mosin and you want the range to yourself all you have to do is shoot about 15 rounds back to back and people will start to leave. I am now looking for a set of cheap matching single shot breach action 20g's.

Yeah, I really like the 20G it doesnt have that much kick and is really fun to shoot cuz you dont have a sore shoulder afterwards

yeah. and its still big enough to do some damage.

all that tin may be getting to your brain, because I don't quite remember the conversation going that way. But it is too nice for what i would like to do to a pair of 20g's. It would almost be a sin to deface such a nice shotgun.

My dad and I shoot all the time, AR15s, .223 and .308 "sniper" rifles (Custom Remington 700s, one of which is in my avatar), Pistols (I have a S&W MP40, he had several Springfield XD45s and XD40s)

I've just got a Marlin .22
But I've shot AR-15's, a Lueger, Remington 700, an M1 Garand, and a bunch of other stuff.
I think my favorite gun I've ever shot is a Springfield 1911 with tritium sights. That thing is sweet.

Yeah the Garand has to be near the top of my list as far as coolest guns ever, I am gonna get one someday.

The coolest gun I have shot is an M1 Garand. That shit is LOUD.

M1 Garand is an amazing gun. I personally own a Taurus PT-99 9mm. Love it. I shoot as much as I can.

I shoot. There is a range over in grantville thats pretty good. I got 2 12 gauge pumps, 20ga single shot, 30-30 lever action, browning .22 pistol, glock .45 cal, couple of 22 rifles and 2 30-6's. I mean some of those are my dads lol. But i enjoy shootin some. Got me some squirells this season.

Before I discovered AIrsoft that's where all my child's college money went!

Well to contribute, I'm friends with the son of the guy who started double bubble(you know the gum), anyways he sold it to tootsie roll for like $300 million or somethin like that and bought like every gun on the face of the planet. I go to shoot with them all the time. You name it I've shot it at least once. I'd have to say the best gun I've ever shot was the HK G36K followed by the FN M249 MKII.

I went an shot a few guns the other week:

2011, AR-15 w/ 9mm mod, AR-15 w/ Suppressor.

Suppressors make your eyes water almost too much to shoot though...

I've had no such problem with the suppresed guns I've fired.

We had just cleaned all of the ones that we used... so there was some cleaning solution still left in them, but it shot out quite a bit of vapor out of the back, making it very hard to breathe and shoot!

If the situation were to occur, i call his M4, or the garand....

I would call the garand, and maybe try to find a decent scope, the m4 is all yours lol. I dont like m4s

If they come after our guns you might oughta head for the hills! Dibs are already on the M-4 but I'll have raffle/lotto tickets on the rest.
