Evike tends to have terrible information on products they are selling, its often over exaggerated or a major typo. 800 lumens seems a bit much.

not necessarily, i have the G&P m3 flashlight that is 230 lumens(supposedly) and is really bright, and the flashlight max is talking about has 5 of the CREE bulbs like what is in my m3. So i would figure 5 of the CREE bulbs could do some damage. i don't know much about flashlights or lumens but it seems like it could be correct

I'm 80% sure that the flashlight in question is a rebranded G&P M6 replica, in which case it would have an output of 500 lumens.

However, straight lumens aren't everything. A high-quality surefire pumping out fewer lumens is going to have more range than a replica that's maybe got more lumens but with a beam that isn't as focused.

Going on what Admin said, I have a $425 surefire M600 that puts out 120 lumens, and I am pretty sure that this $100 light will not be as "bright". It might be, but I am not so sure. Maybe it has more to do with the lens and how focused the beam is.
