Oiled BBs true and straight?

The other day I came across someone that bathed their BBs is automotive oil
and told me it increases their accuracy.
I can see how BBs rubbing on the inner barrel might end up flying all over the place
but my tightbore is pretty slick. Can "oiling" BBs really help?

Can a tighbore barrel and good hop-up bucking really be improved upon if accuracy is

I speak from personal experience. NO. Your BBs will exit your barrel and spin off in every which direction, causing your accuracy to be at the sheer lowest possible capacity and your range will diminish severely. They were probably trying to play a joke on your or something. I read the same thing on a forum, did it, posted my results (which were horrific) and then a dude posted said "Man your not supposed to actually do that" I'm pretty sure its just a big airsoft troll.

Paul you did that on purpose? That was a great day when my gun was the only one on the team that could shoot more than 40 feet hahaha.

I dont know about accuracy, but your going to lose range. Hop Up is not going to spin the bb
