I have a buddy that wants to start playing airsoft! He has $200 to spend and asked me to look around for somthing with high fps, great accuracy, and durable. i came to you guys first because you are the people I trust. Can Rhino or Tak maybe name off some guns you have at the store that may fit what hes looking for? Everyone on the forum are open to offer guns you are selling. He knows all the basics of careing for guns and im trying to hunt him a gun down by the ACZ game next week. Please say if you have what we are looking for!
    Thanks guys!

Moved to "Guns" section, left a shadow topic in the airdog section.

For under $200, the G&G Combat Machine M4/AK or G&G Original Plastica M4/M16 or Plastica MP5 is going to be your best bet IMO. Externals aren't exactly top-of-the-line (nylon fiber instead of aluminum, outer barrels on the Combat Machines are zinc), but the externals are durable enough. Performance is pretty nice, and reliability and quality control are excellent for such a budget gun.

Also, a LOT of new players talk about how they need FPS, but in reality, if you're looking for range, accuracy and hopup are SO much more important. My Tm M14, when stock, shot under 300 FPS, but I could hit a target every time at 180 feet. However, my AGM GBBr was shooting at about 450 and I couldn't hit anything past 100 feet. The G&G's hopup makes up for the lower (340-ish) FPS, and the FPS is going to be under most CQB limits, so your friend won't be limited to outdoor play.

    Right on guys.
    I would recommend a G&G M4 as well.

Admin is right about FPS. Too many new players get caught up in the metrics of FPS as opposed to looking into the quality of the weapon.
