So, I went out and made stencils from the MC pattern, however I can't afford the MC colors (125 without the needed airbursh for only 2oz of each color) so instead I used Krylon Camo colors. Here is a pic of how it turned out. Should I continue and paint the rest of my gun this way?

you were right its pretty dark compared to an MC uniform but it looks excellent. Idk if you do the whole gun because of the RIS and everything but you could certainly do the individual parts.

Cool Thanks! The way I would describe it is, from 10feet away or further, it looks immaculate. From 7 feet it looks good. 5 feet, still looks great, but you can see some rough edges. Once yo uget real close and inspect it very close up, you can see some pretty rough and miffed up places. But I think itll turn out great, and I am more than confident that it will blend excellently with the foliage.

Dude, that looks awesome. I have seen plenty of people try to do the Multicam pattern with airbrushes and claiming to have experience with said airbrushes and it always looks like crap, but that looks awesome.

    Looks nice!
The flat finish looks great . . . the dipped version is not as flat so yours will do well in actual use.

Woah, that dip still looks legit though...the only thing about my paintjob is it is much darker than MC.

It is darker but yours still looks good . . . the dip is great for those who really want genuine Crye . . . they had a TOUGH time getting it right since the Crye is new to the "dip world" and I think they are working on a flatter clear for it too.

Well from the beginning DU has been about function rather than fashion, so if it works then run with it bro.
That dipped one looks quite shiny
