saw m249 para upgrades

I just got a saw and need to know of a upgraded battery and spring that will not burn up the moter or strip the gears.

A 7.4 lipo will probably be your best bet. If you want to replace the sping maybe a m120 would be good. a 7.4 shouldn't strip the gears or do anything to the motor because it's the same as a 9.6 just smaller. ask rhino or crazy twitch or sniper2525. those guys know.

wait will the battery still give me a better rof

it will give you a faster trigger response and i think it helps a little with rof. just don't hold down the trigger for a long period of time

well you're not supposed to hold the trigger down for long periods of time anyways because it will wear down on the gears and doing that with this battery will only make it happen faster.

so burst shots are better for the gears were could i find the battery and the sniper dood recomended a 140 witch was weird cuz they come with a m100 whats wrong with the m120 or m130

the rof is higher so the spring will wear down faster and the fps will be low with an m120. i didn't think of that. so an m140 would be best if that's what he said

No, the gearbox is longer, so the spring doesn't get pulled back as far.

so still the 9.6battery with the m140 right

I would go with a 7.4 lipo. Better trigger response and overall a better battery.

yah but those u have to buy a pricy charger as far as i can tell

another thing if i replace the spring would i have to change the piston too or is the pistion already strong enough

Chrager isnt pricy a smart charger for a Nimh like a 9.6 battery is 38. But for a 7.4 lipo charger is 30.
