there's like a little grooved ring inside the part you have to push down and you have to twist that thing off.

i made a quick video on removing the delta ring.
if there is a gas tube, that tube needs to be removed first.
which requires loosening up the front sight.
i'm gonna assume you know how to remove those small retaining screws.
if you forget to take one off, you will get gouge marks on your outer barrel.
