Mid Caps or High Caps??

So after a small amount of research i did not find where someone had asked this question to be enlightened by the vast array of expertise frequenting this forum, and I am looking for such an answer.

I have seen many pros and cons for both, but what would you guys recommend for an M4 for use in field settings?? Or what do you use?

If you hate reloading (in field and putting bbs in) hi-cap. If those don't bother you, mid-caps. It doesn't really matter, it's all personal preference. Or get both. Have a mix of mags in there.

thats what I'm thinking, maybe running 2 hi-caps, and 6 mid caps

I have 14 mid-caps and 2 hi-cap back-ups. Sometimes I play with just one 350rd hi-cap in one round and it usually lasts me. It's all up to you.

ya i use 5 mids and 2 or 3 highcaps, i think it is best to run both.

IC runs all mids for the most part, they are much quieter when running around.

yeah thats my thing. i like having the ammo accesible with hi-caps but I dont want to sound like a hardware store running thru the woods. any certain brand over another for either type??

MAG midcaps

As Flipa said MAG are great. Just put some silicone oil in them when you first get them and whenever you have feeding issues.

awesome, thanks for the tips. evike has a set of 8 130 rd MAG's for 55.00 and that was the set I was looking at to begin with.

They won't work right at first, don't freak out about that because they do have a break-in period.

ok, yeah the product page actually says the same thing. do they have a release like my hi-cap? i guess my question is can you load the MAGs and unload them a couple of times to accomplish this? or do you actually have to cycle them thru the weapon?

The way I did it, I loaded and unloaded it continuously while spraying some silicon oil in there. Do that about 3-4 times, then take it to a game and use all of them.

yes go with MAG, and as far as highcaps goes i've had good luck with JG and CA highcaps
