I'm located in columbus, i have a aftermath broxa evolution, a spring KWC Colt M1911, and I hope to be able to get an aftermath Kiernex (M4) before too long, and i have my eye on a CYMA M14, and the only airsoft ive eer played was at a friends birthday party with like 3 other people and spring guns

sights/optics for airsoft is mostly for cosmetics. look at the real ones and choose the one that appeals to you. almost all real sights/optics have clones for airsoft. i prefer 1-4x power with quick disconnect.

As a|ex said, it is mostly cosmetic. I use a 3x-9x scope sometimes when I feel like I need to see great distances. It helps to ID friendlies and non-friendlies, but it also gets in the way so I have been using a monocular instead lately and just the iron sites. Works much better! I know some people that have a 4x Red dot scope and like it. It lets them see detail a bit although your can never get your range as far as the dang thing will zoom.
