I don't always play airsoft, but when I do, I use a helicopter. -fink

but the last time we used a helicopter the owner made us use a real 249
the guy shooting it was a good shot and killed almost all of the players
and the rest did not want to finish the game
so we don't do that anymore

i remember that game (ptsd flashback)
With the rotor wash from the chopper its amazing that he hit anyone.

You'd be surprised but rotor wash wont have that much of an effect on your bbs. This one game where there was a rolling shootout going on, little walmart mp5 at like 180fps was able to firing at another car from a moving car with 80 mile an hour winds

I would assume if a car is doing 80mph that would result in a 80mph wind.

Either way, wasnt there. Video of this somewhere on google or youtube.

I do know for a fact that firing an airsoft gun from a chopper is possible which is the point i was trying to make

the rotorwash from a chopper would be way more effective than the air going around the car. with the car you have to aim behind the target, with the helicopter you have to factor in a lot of different things for your shot: the wind pushing down, how fast you're going, elevation difference, etc. still would be fun though.

Indeed. Couple of guys from florida were talking about getting some combined arms going in a few ops. Land, sea, air type of deal. Not sure when or where this would happen but it definetly be right up my alley.

80 MPH is fast to do in an airsoft field. Even real military vehicles don't go that fast when doing an assault. (assuming that's where it was done).

I couldnt really tell cause it was filmed from inside the car but think those guys were at some large parking lot or airfield.

Not a real one just kinda like a perk.

Cool video, that would be pretty intense to have on the airsoft field. Lucky guy who gets to be the door gunner, Im sure everybody on the field would die for a chance to be the gunner.

If I remember correctly I think you had to pay extra to be a door gunner. I think it was an extra $50 or something. But the helicopter was also doing extractions and insertions along with gun runs.

Hmm, I can get 30 min Blackhawk rides $50 less than that.
