Okay, I don't think I've ever really introduced myself to any of you guys in the year and a half I've been on the forum. My name is Rhett Koehler, I am 13, and I've been in airsoft for about 3-4 years. I know all of the parts of the M16 in and out, I plan on being in USMC MARSOC. I'm hoping to join through JROTC and ROTC. I soon plan on going to Airdog in the beginning of November. There is only one person on the forum I know personally. And really that sums it all up. If you guys have any questions about me or anything feel free to post or pm. Smile

Getting into MARSOC is not part of the JROTC/ROTC pipeline. ROTC is just about commissioning as an officer in the Armed Forces.

Enlist, or commission as an officer, have an outstanding career, and if the planets align you may have your shot.

ROTC can get you a degree and help you to commission as a 2nd Lt. This is the only way to become an officer outside of OCS, although I believe in the USMC OCS is the only route anyways, and OCS is primarily for people who already know what they are doing and the competition is very stiff.

MARSOC is like the green berets of the Marines. SMA MARSOC is a very select few people. ROTC will help but not much. Just get in and work hard. Also welcome.

I think your best bet will be to wait a few years and get in contact with a Marine Corps Recruiter and have him answer all of your questions.
