Re: Glock 18c HELP
It's tough to say if it's an easy fix or not. There are so many tiny moving parts in them it could be a number of things. The worst part though is most of those parts would need to come from china and shipping will cost you quite a bit, especially seperate orders.

If your mechanical just take it apart, they aren't that hard to work on.

Re: Glock 18c HELP
Heres a list of suspected parts for the problem.
260
261
262
264
265
266
267
268
Best thing is take ti all apart. check the parts for bad wear. if nothing really stands out as extremely worn or damaged, then order an entire spring kit for the gun and change them all out. Chances are though its one of the first 5 parts I listed, OR 267 is broken.

Re: Glock 18c HELP
If your just doing it to learn gbb pistols I wouldn't use that particular one. There are so many moving parts that have to be ordered from china and shipping is killer. You just about have to use the guess and check method on which part is causing the problem unless of course something is in pieces. But several different orders for new parts to try will have you way upside down in the guns value in no time.
For example, mine was half cycling when I got it. You would fire it and the slide would come back halfway and expell all the gas from the mag. After many tries of part replacement without a fix it finally came down to an altered hammer spring was causing the problem. Never would have thought that would cause such problems, but it was.
If your looking for an education tool get a broken cheapo gbb pistol that has many parts available domestically.

Re: Glock 18c HELP
Sounds like you already have it though, so the first thing I would do is take the slide off and turn it over. On the opposite side of the selector switch you will see part 261. Check that while flipping the switch to see if it is moving and seems low enough to move part 265, which u will see sticking up out of the lower, and check part 265 to see if it is damaged.
To check all the parts in the lower only requires you to remove the pin on the back of the grip and they come out as one piece. However to remove the internals from the slide your going to have to locate/order a .035 Allen key to remove the screw that ultimate holds it all together, part 259. The smallest in any set of keys from the hardware store is .05 so don't bother looking there. I may still have mine.
