Ok, so first things first, I hope some of you got something out of the squad leader and tactics training. As admin said, ya'll were doing a pretty good job running Battle Drill 1 Alpha after awhile, and I saw a lot of you using your IMT's throughout the games, so I hope that knowledge sticks with you.
Now for the story I am sure everyone is anxious to hear. This is my side of it, i am sure rhino will post his later.
Ok, so....Rhino ran out of gas in his smaller gas canister. He said if someone would carry the larger, heavier canister than he would still use it on the field. Seeing wha tan awesome support weapon it was, I volunteered to carry the canister. As rhino and I said, we looked like a World War II flamethrower team.
Needless to say this thing was an awesome weapon. All of us (admin, crazy twitch, me, rhino, stick and numerous other players) were in one striaght ine just advancing under the covering fire of this weapon and everyone was firing there weapons to. It was truly a sight to see as about 15 players slowly moved forward with litarally thousands of bb's being fired from everyone in just a few seconds.
About this time I noticed my hands were beginning to freeze off from holding on to the canister, Honestly, I still have really bad cold burns on my hands from it. And they hurt like hell to. Anwyas, I stopped rhino to show him that my hands were freezing from holding his can, and he thought we were advancing to fast anyways, so we stopped for a moment to let everyone catch up and so i could adjust the canister to try and prevent my hands from falling off (Ask rhino, they were ice white, and like I said, I still have bad burns from the intense cold).
In the next couple of seconds a series of unfortunate events happened.
1. Some kid popped up from behind a bunker and rhino stood up to engage him.
2. I kneeled down to adjust the canister, putting the gun about 6 inches or so from my left ear.
3. There was the distinct sound of something popping (probably the air seal or something). Then...
BOOM!
i cant remember the actual explosion. Everyone said it was really loud. I didnt think it was loud, but I just knew the pressure wave hitting the side of my head hurt like hell. I was out cold for just a few seconds. When I came to, my helmet was off to the side and my goggles were messed up so I took them off. I was shell shocked pretty badly, everything was moving in slow motion and my vision was blurry. That and I couldnt hear anything. I could see peoples mouths moving but I couldnt hear anything anyone was saying. I saw rhino get up and come over to me, and a large number of people were gathering around me so I knew I must have looked really bad or something.
Everyone said I was yelling "WHAT?" but it didnt sound like i was yelling, I could barely hear myself. I really couldnt hear anything anyone was saying for a couple of minutes. I am okay, just have those bad burns on my hands, but for awhile I was pretty dizzy and having a little trouble keeping my balance.
I honestly think that the kevalr helmet really saved me from some serious brain trauma or something, becuase that was one large pressure blast. I mean, it threw rhino and me back a couple of feet, and we were weighed doen by gear and I had that canister and it still blew me back, so it was powerful.

. Seriously, I wish I could have come and brought the rest of CLPC with me at least one of us made it out there. Unfortunately we had a church retreat and my parents pulled a "Nazi" and made me study for eocts instead of going on the retreat or 2 the airsoft game.
