Hello, and welcome to Metro Atlanta Airsoft. MAA was founded on December 29th, 2008, and went live on New Year's Eve at 7:30 PM. It's a way for airsoft players in the Metro Atlanta area to meet, talk about airsoft events and organized fields, and schedule private games. A section for talk about airsoft guns, tactical gear, and tactics/gameplay has also been included, as well as a review section.
The main purpose of MAA is to connect the isolated pockets of airsoft players in the Atlanta area and encourage overall growth of airsoft, growth of local airsoft retailers due to increased exposure or all of the airsoft shops in the area, and larger and more frequent private games, as well as increased attendance to organized fields. An index of organized airsoft fields can be found in the "local games" section. I encourage you to post dates and times for private games in the "Local Games/Events" section in the subforum for your location. Make sure to read the section rules and post information for your private games in the format that is demonstrated in the section rules. "Private game" is defined as an airsoft game that is played that is not affiliated with any airsoft business or dedicated airsoft field. Private games should be played either on private land away from view of the general population and with the land owner's permission, or on public land in very rural areas, with no chance of any pedestrians/hikers/anybody seeing you. For example, if you're playing in the woods behind your house and you can see other houses, choose a different place. But if you are somewhere completely out of view, you'll be fine.

I hope that these rules wouldn't have to be posted, but I'm going to post them just in case.

    1) Use common sense and good judgment.
    2) No profanity. If you can't get your point across without swearing, go sit down with a dictionary and learn some better words. If you have to use profanity because somebody on the internet made you angry, get over it. If you chooses to use profanity or try to bypass the swear filter, you will be banned or suspended.
    3) No flaming. "Flaming" is defined as insulting or bashing another member. If you have a disagreement with someone, argue your point intelligently.
    4) No double posting. Also, if you posted a question and nobody has answered, wait at least two days before bumping your thread.
    5) No discriminating against anyone because they're new, or because they use low-end guns, or they don't have all of the latest gear. We don't need any elitists. Everyone was new to airsoft at one point, and 90% of airsofters started out wearing jeans and a t-shirt and playing with walmart guns.
    6) All signatures must be under 3 inches.
    7) No trolling.
    Cool See rule #1.

If you would feel so obliged, make an intro post in the "Welcome" section.

    I'll start off.
Hey everyone. I'm know as Josh to my friends, and as Hawkeyes39 on ASB and ASF. I started playing airsoft a little over a year ago, but I played paintball for a couple of years before that. I currently fill a TL's role on my team, and my style of play involves sneakiness, an accurate gun, and quick-moving. I'm a big fan of Bioval BB's. If you've got any questions about upgrades, gameplay, the forum, or anything airsoft, feel free to send me a PM!
