Just bought a Stag-15 Echo 1 M4 a couple of days ago. Want to upgrade the barrel, body, front grip, motor, and gearbox. Any ideas on some good brands? Cheap prices?

Check out the Buy/Sell thread ...there's always stuff on there. That's if you have the skills to do it yourself. Also, what are you trying to achieve? Range and Accuracy? Rate of Fire? Lipo ready?

For more accuracy put a tight bore barrel. For Rate of Fire, Airdog offers ROF upgrade packages.
Give them a call for more info.

This man will definitely satisfy your needs. He will also ensure your happy with your final product. For range you could get a 120 spring, rate of fire you would probably want a 7.4 or 11.1 lipo. This man you take care of you!

Re: Echo 1 M4 upgrades
Granted there have been several people who give advice to go to Rhino at airdog and I am also one of them.
But he's looking for opinions on brands.
For a barrel I would stick with Prometheus. They are good barrels and don't cost too much.
I would also upgrade your bucking, i went with the madbull blue, and love it.
As far as a gear box, you wouldn't need the actual gb just the internals. And I'm not sure what to go with there.

Agreed on the promy Barrel and blue bucking....I have both
with .25 I can get out to about 200-230 feet at 420 FPS
I'm running a 9.6 Bat and only get about 14 BPS on an M120 spring but hey, I'm cool with that.

Re: Echo 1 M4 upgrades
For range i would go with a matrix 6.03 steel 363mm tbb barrel which is apparently just like the prommy ones or about half the price, a firefly or madbull blue bucking, a matrix turbo motor and a 7.4 lipo. That should give you a pretty decent rof and good range
