After Op. Pinnacle at BZP, i realized my UTG MK96 is not as good as i remembered it being(accuracy & range). if you know of any upgrades available for it, please share your knowledge(meaning where to find these upgrades). any and all suggestons are welcome. this is for serious suggestions, not stupid comments about UTG or non-related topics.

I know EDGI makes tighter custom barrels for the L96. Search them on google.

i've heard bad things about 6.00 barrels. you have to constantly clean it and make sure your ammo is absolutly perfect.

Maintanence on a gun is normal, if you don't take the time to maintain your weapon you shouldn't play. Cleaning barrels takes no time at all. Also bbs is another important part of being a "sniper" in airsoft, you should be using bbs at .3 grams or above anyway and bbs made at that weight are high quality so you don't have anything to worry about

i had an edgi 6.00 barrel in my bar 10 for awhile and didn't keep up with it as well as i should have, but it never had problems. Never jammed with matrix .3's or madbull .4's

What Billy is saying is very true, when me and Trent used to run our TM Vsr-10's we only used the best of the best for BB's. We never settled for anything but the SuperGrandMasters .29 bb's.

I even washed all my bb's before they went in to my bar-10. Then I went through all of them looking for defective ones. Now there is an debate going one that tighter is not better. I would definitely do some research before you go and get a barrel.

I have a pinned post somewhere on here, I actually took a stock barrel and polished it and it got better groupings then the tightbore barrel did.

Bioval .27's are some awesome BB's, and aren't as expensive as SGMs.

i checked its range and accuracy earlier today. the range is normal, the scope was just off by a lot. Its accuracy sucks. im thinking i just need to switch from .28's to .3's. i've also heard polishing the barrel is really good for the accuracy.

It's not just the weight of the BB, but the quality as well. A high-quality BB that's maybe a little lighter (like a Bioval) will be better than a crappy BB that's heavier (like a TSD/KSC... not that they're crappy, but for a BASR they don't really measure up IMO)

What Admin is saying is also very true, I also tried just about every heavy weight bb when i used to snipe, I know for a fact that Straight .36bb's are complete junk, even though the SGM was lighter it still way out performed the heavier bb. Now since Bioval are relitavely new, that is one bb I have never tested, but I know me and Trent both only ran SGM in our TM VSR-10's, but Biovals are gonna have to be my next bb to test.
