WWII is great and all, simply because of... well all of you know why. But personally, I like whatever has the most modern tech that I can study.

Current War.... this War had so much live media coverage in the beginning it was hard not to be interested in it. I remember staying up till 3am watching battles in real time when we first entered Iraq. The Gulf was had some good media coverage of Baghdad getting pummeled by bombs.

Agreed. Whether or not we agree with the war, we need to support the troops. They are citizens just like everyone else, except they have already put their lives on a contract to the country, and that says something powerful.

Agreed! True heros from that era.
I wish I could have picked two b/c i picked for the current war. Those guys deserve the most respect but so do the WW2 guys. The WW2 guys stopped global domination and genocide but on the other hand the guys in these current war never know whats going to happen next when there patrolling the streets and gorilla warfare always taking place.

I was able to pick multiple.
I have a lot of respect for the veterans from WWII. That is the one war that was said to have a indisputable just cause. And I also picked the current war, I just hope Obama can make his mind up on what he is going to do.

I have a buddy was is in the 75th Ranger Batt (got transfered to the training battalion after he suffered an eye injury) who is OBSESSED with WWII. His greatest dream is to go back in time and fight in WWII, he always says he wishes he was born in 1935 so he could storm the beaches or climb Point Du Hoc. Crazy dude....
