Im thinking about getting anew vest eventually.

I want something that has space in the front, hydration slot in the back, and is some what light weight.

Basically i need to fit 6 M4 mag pouches along the front, maybe a few more misc. pouches but that is mainly it.

    Suggestions on what type/brand?

    Price must be realistic. Ha

Post pictures of your suggestions please!

    Thanks!

If you want it to match your ACU thats agood way to go but I've got the same vest in tan which comes out more of a coyote brown color and its awesome. Comes with two double m4 mag pouches, dumppouch, 3l hydro pouch and a utility pouch and its got a lot of compartments for adjustments and fake plates.

I was recently looking to get one of these, http://www.ebairsoft.com/eagle-style-rrvv-hawg-p-1883.html

But I found out it is cheaper to build one.

Are you looking to simulate armor? or just a rig that you can wear? I wear a modded Fighting Load Carrier. This is a vest that I was issued and modded to be a chest rig. It carries 6 mag's, a medical pouch (Blow Out Kit), a small pouch for a surefire G6, and a Utilitly Pouch. I will be wearing it this weekend at the Airdog Airsoft game. For hydration, I will have either a Condor bag that I have touched up with some Krylon, or my R.A.I.D.

I would post pic's, but I don't know how. Cut/Paste is not working for me...

How well does using paints work on the material used for gear? (high strength fabrics, deneir) I've never tried but would definitly be interested in learning...

To post pics, click the picture button on that row of buttons when you are posting.

I personally really like my Eagle UCR.. check out the review I wrote for it in the review section.

As for a hydro carrier, I just recently switched to an MSR 4L Dromedary + hrydo kit. I love it. I'll show it to you at OG. Only downside is that you need to pick up some Grimlocks to attach it to PALS webbing.

I still can not figure out the posting pic thing. Do I "host" the pic? I have tried this but none of my pictures end up here. How does the "image" button work? Pretty frustrated....Do I have to go someplace else and open some kind of an account? I really need something more than use the picture button.

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!H O O R A Y !!!!!!!!!!!!!!SUCCESS

THIS is what my kit looks like. The chest rig is home on leave with me from Afghanistan. It is super easy to make.

I believe the rifle is a JG? M4. The RedDot is a Tasco that I zero'd today. The light is a Surefire Scout Light. This is my first REAL airsoft rifle. This is also my first attempt at painting any kind of weapon.

Let me know what you think.

Yeah looks like a jg s-system with a killer paint job.

I looked at the rest of the album and the black sheriff vest looks gnarly. And how are you attaching the sling on your mp5?

That was my entry gear when I was on SWAT before deploying to Afghanistan. The vest is a RAV. I wore it in Iraq up to 16 hours a day at times. Very comfortable. The sling is a single point that attaches to the factory rear sling mount. It did not show up well in the pic, but the mount is just above and behind the grip.
