Re: is the G&G GR 16 blowback good
i have one, great internals but poor range. I can kill people the same as a 360 fps gun but i just have to get in closer. if your a camper and u just don't like to run, well this gun is not for you. Buy if your good at tactics and you can get in close its a great gun.....m4airsoftking wrote:hi i am thinking about getting the g and g gr 16 blowback what is your opinon

Re: is the G&G GR 16 blowback good
range can always be fixed with replacing the the whole hop up unit with a gaurder unit
but um, i dont think this is appropriate to post under airsoft tactics

The G&G M16 is a great gun. A teammate has one, and I've had the opportunity to go inside of one. The gun I have experiance is not the blowback version, but G&G's TopTech blowback design is easily the best AEG blowback design out there. Instead of simply hooking the bolt to the piston, they divert some of the airflow to push back the bolt, similar to a real rifle. I say go for it.

Re: is the G&G GR 16 blowback good
This is a great gun for mig and short ranged battles. A good friend of mine has one (Xplodingbunnys) and he says it is real nice, good internals but not much range. But hey that doesn't stop anyone from slapping in a M120 spring now does it? lol. I've also held this gun and I relized that it is very VERY light, almost like it doesn't have a mechbox in it. My guess it weighs 3-4 lbs with a scope and silencer on it

The sport line models now have this pneumatic blowback on them.

m120 doesnt mean more range.navyseal1000 wrote:This is a great gun for mig and short ranged battles. M120 will give you about 380 FPS with the G&G TT, which is more than the 320 it shoots stock, so, yes, it will give you more range.Airsoftguy238 wrote:m120 doesnt mean more range.navyseal1000 wrote:This is a great gun for mig and short ranged battles. yeah but just cause you put a m120 doesnt necessarily mean your going to get that much moreAdmin wrote:M120 will give you about 380 FPS with the G&G TT, which is more than the 320 it shoots stock, so, yes, it will give you more range.Airsoftguy238 wrote:m120 doesnt mean more range.navyseal1000 wrote:This is a great gun for mig and short ranged battles. With a G&G bucking, hopup unit, and barrel, you will gain a good amount of range. Trust me, I've done it.Airsoftguy238 wrote:yeah but just cause you put a m120 doesnt necessarily mean your going to get that much moreAdmin wrote:M120 will give you about 380 FPS with the G&G TT, which is more than the 320 it shoots stock, so, yes, it will give you more range.Airsoftguy238 wrote:m120 doesnt mean more range.navyseal1000 wrote:This is a great gun for mig and short ranged battles.
