Re: MP7's ????????????
I know Rhino used to have one, and from what I've heard, if you're looking for a nice, effective backup or alternative to a pistol in CQB, then the MP7 is great. Now, if you want to try and upgrade it to the point where it will be able to compete with other guns outdoors, you're going to be out of luck.

Re: MP7's ????????????
I want a mid range compact gun. Im looking for something that would be effective in ss airsoft, the airdog town and other similar places. I would mainly upgrade the bucking to get more range, get a drop leg for it and 5-6 midcaps. would an mp7 do the trick, i have a g36c that's upgraded and its good for outdoor and indoor, but i want an effective point man weapon and just a compact pistol/cqb gun.

Re: MP7's ????????????
I had an MP7 it was a Well brand. The mechbox came over lubed and the compresion of the piston was horrible. I took it apart and cleaned all the grease out, reshimmed, and replace with a 9 ball piston. This made performance much better but the ROF was very low due to the 7.2 volt battery. My next project was to use an 8.4 with a PEQ but then sold it to Lonewolf. PM him to see how the gun is doing.
As far as using as a back up is fine but would struggle as a primary. Remember its an AEP so will only have pistol range at a low FPS.

if i were you, i'd look to get a high rof and use it as a cqb/backup gun. you already have the g39c that's upgraded and what not.

Re: MP7's ????????????
MP5K has a Version 3 gearbox, which means that internally it's a lot more durable, it can stand up to a lot more, and there's an almost unlimited potential for upgrades. But it's larger and heavier.Ghost wrote:Whats the difference besides looks
The Mp7 has an AEP gearbox, which means that you can't really upgrade it that much and the performance is going to be limited. But on the plus side it's a lot smaller and lighter.
But from what you've said, and MP5 PDW (MP5K with a folding stock) is probably going to be your best bet.

The MP7 has a weird little mechbox with 4 gears and is seperate from the trigger assembly. It only uses 9 ball replacement parts. Has a low FPS and a small 7.2v bat.
The Mp5k is a much more practical chioce IMO too.
