My question is would it be cheaper to get a vest that has everything attached already or get a molle vest and buy the pouches.

Re: Molle Vest vs Pre made
It depends on what type of camo pattern you wnat to get your vest in really. But for most vests, the overall cost is going to be cheaper to just buy them with the pouches attached. Thats about the only pro of those vests though. If you have the money to get a MOLLE vest and then get some MOLLE pouches I would say do that. It might end up being a little more expensive than buying one that is premade, but you get the pouches that you want, so you can customize it for whatever kit you like to where.
Example: Most premade vest dont have mp5 or p90 magazine pouches. If you use those guns you are kinds screwed. A modular vest at least gives you the option of putting some mag holders on if you want them.

Re: Molle Vest vs Pre made
I agree with TWITCH in part. I am not a fan of the MOLLE vests. I would advise you to lay out what you need to have imidiate access to when you are in the field, then decide if what you need to carry will fit in a preassembled vest. I have a Blackwater vest with pre attached pouches and a crossdraw holster. The only drawback i have found so far is that the mags for the G36 are going to give you some trouble pulling them out (because of the tabs on both sides), But since I added a BATMAG to my loadout it hasen't been a problem. if you are shooting anything other than a g36, mp5 ,or P90 the mags will fit perfectly. If you still have any questions I would find people at a game that are wearing different types of vests and ask them questions about it.

Re: Molle Vest vs Pre made
It'll be cheaper to buy a pre-made vest that a modular one.
What kind of mags do you need to carry? An LBE vest is a really good, very cheap vest.
LBE gear (http://www.armygear.net/ag/store/0094b.html#) is old, but made for real-world applications and it's still good. It's got 4 M16 double pouches, so it'll hold 8 M16/M4 mags, 4 G36 mags, 4 M14 mags, or 16 MP5 mags.

Re: Molle Vest vs Pre made
most of the pre assembled vest have the inner pocket for a camel back blatter. I would not recomend a cross draw to anyone. It just gets in the way of the main gun. cool in theory though.

I use a lot of condor stuff, and I have never had a problem with them. So they get an A+ from me.

Re: Molle Vest vs Pre made
I had a condor MOLLE and there nice, If you've got a g36c its cheaper with a pre-made tac vest, but I had a p90 at the time, and also with the molle near the top there is this rubber feeling type thing thats on the shoulders and if you get shot close it will go into it.

You can also keep a look out for used molle vests with pouches. I got mine for $50.

I like condor though many do not. I ran there compact pc for 2 years and didnt have any problems with it. There pouches are good too but i had a few come undone and start to unravel.

Re: Molle Vest vs Pre made
condor is okay for the price, but I prefer to go with the real deal: Eagle Industries, HSGI, etc.

Re: Molle Vest vs Pre made
Go with Eagle Industries, they're pretty expensive, but really worth the money. The whole US military gets issued their stuff. I have alot of their pouches for sale right now, if your interested. Anywho, you can get a PC or RRS-V from them for like $140-170. If you wanna play like the big boys you can get a CIRAS for $500 , but sadly I sold mine last week cuz I needed money
And in my opinion, Condor is cool for airsoft and stuff, but I do more milsim stuff so Condor just really isnt my style.
