    My Dilemma Empty My Dilemma

So, once I recieve my grant money, I am going to use half of it on a new gun. But I can't choose whice one... (also, Im not going to name the amount of money half of the grant is, but be assured its enough to cover quite a nice piece)

    Here are my choices :

GEN2 WE 416, which I would completely gut and replace all the parts with RATech internals. The thing that gets me is the price of the CO2 magazines, I want CO2 over GreenGas because the regulation system will allow me to have a more consistent pressure than the GreenGas.

    http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/other-gun/gas-blow-black-rifle/we/we-hk416-gas-blow-back-rifle-we-4168-ver2-tan.html

KingArms Ghalil, new version, real wood, all steel.

    http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/aeg/king-arms-hong-kong/king-arms-galil-ar-full-metal-airsoft-aeg-wood-version.htmlhttp://shop.ehobbyasia.com/aeg/king-arms-hong-kong/king-arms-galil-ar-full-metal-airsoft-aeg-wood-version.html

KingArms DarkEarth SIGHolo , the good thing about this gun is magazine compatibility.

    http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/aeg/king-arms-hong-kong/king-arms-sig556-holo-full-metal-blowback-aeg-de.html

The gas is what I've always really wanted but the CO2 magazines will be a very large hassle....much larger than the GreenGas magazines, however if I do get the gas gun I want it to have the best performance I can possibly squeeze out of it.

    1) CO2 magazines will be a hassle, and the cost of the 12g CO2 powerlets will be kind of annoying as well. You can get them for about .50$ a piece though if you buy in bulk (Cabella's or walmart). The RA-Tech upgraded WE *could* be complete win, or it could turn out to be a big hassle or the performance won't be there. Either way, it's more of a risk than the others, but I assume you already know that.

    2) Looks like a great gun, and I think it's just different enough from an AK that it'll look really cool with Multicam. Idk about the magazines, ask Reed if they'll fit in a 5.56 magazine pouch. Watched the video, the design looks really solid with the way the battery fits in, the blowback looks OK, but I'd personally disable it anyway b/c EBB = gay and more stress to the piston even with the updated design.

    3) IMO, you've already got one modern-looking tan/fde 5.56 mid-length assault rifle. The SIGHolo looks cool yes, but it looks a lot like the G&P VLTOR you already have and probably handles almost exactly like the VLTOR, so I personally wouldn't get it unless you just really want another gun like it.

Anyway BM, that's all I've got, I say get the galil unless you REALLY want the GBBR, which might be more of a risk and hassle than the galil IMO.

Yeah, I am scared that with all of the money onto the gas gun it will still come up short in terms of performance. And as it turns out, the magazines dont take the CO2 catridges, it has a gas reserviore (spelling?) for the CO2, so I would need a source of CO2 to fill it up from :/

The only thing turning me off of the Ghalil is magazines available for it, but that just takes some homework to figure out.

I really really like the way the SigHolo look, but it may just be that I havent seen the VLTOR in so long Mad

    ^"Rated for : CO2 cartridge (12g)"

If they accepted CO2 out of an external source, that would be amazing as you could just get a paintball CO2 tank and a regulator.

Ah I see, that makes it alot less of a hassle then. But it still doesn't help when its banned, don't really see why its banned if I can regulate the pressure.

because no guns are regulated now. That's why. sure it can be but they are not! Not only that but who wants to carry around and external rig?? if That's the case you can play paintball. Razz To me its just a hassle. I personally don't like the Sig and they suck to work on. Galil = fail for me.

the Sig I do like is this one.

    huh?

CO2 is not regulated. that's why fps goes up with a increase in temp.

The SIG shorty is just *bleh* in my opinion, hate that thing. I'm not sure if this would work well at all with CO2, but RATech has a Negative Pressure Adjustment System (thats what its called I think) piece that you can get for your gun that will let you change the amount of gas being expended with each shot. They have a video of the gun shooting around 500fps, then 400fps, then 250fps, but its on greengas. Wouldn't that still work on CO2?

Ryan the reason paul is saying regulated is bc he wants to get the we 416 and run the ra tech NPAS which alows you to control the height of the floater valvue allowing you to controll the fps

Thats weird that Airdog wouldnt allow C02 regulators on there field, all it is is a tank with a hose going to the gun or am I mistaken and they are allowed. Its just like classic gun.

Bottom line is it doesn't matter whether it is regulated or not CO2 is banned from most fields. Probably an insurance thing, but in the end it doesn't matter, it's banned. I say buy a hopup unit for a vsr-10 Razz
