Classic games we missed.

This is a thread about great classic games in your collection, that might not be as known as Duke nukem or doom or Deus Ex, yet were very good games for their time.

Ive played hundreds of games probably, but the most memorable classic game

I missed this game, even though with bad graphics, gameplay was awesome. It's too bad Novalogic tried to make a more modern version of this but it just wasnt the same as it used to be. My first military based fps.


The original jedi knight series, should continue it, never gets old to me.


Played this until got gold on all maps. Was into the star wars flight sims, X-wing vs Tie Fighter.

Classic....

I played Rogue Squadron as well. Im not sure how old they have to be to be classic but some excellent older games I have played.

I miss Socom Navy Seals and the first 2 Ghost Recon games.

Starcraft... Though I didn't really stopped playing it, and now almost 12 years after, Starcraft 2 comes out.

Did anyone ever play the Command and Conquer games on the PS1?

Lol good call Nic. A lesser known one but still a classic. Here is a game that is very little known but undoubtedly destined to be a classic, not very old though.



Came out around the same time as Halo 2. Read up on reviews, it never gets below a 9, the only reason you've never heard of it is because Halo 2 dwarfed it, even though its a better game than Halo2.

Diablo 2

Anything made by Blizzard over the past 2 decades have been my addiction, excluding WoW

Dude Diablo 2 was such an amazing game! 3 is coming out soon. Jah+Ith+Ber baby!

Medal of honor rising sun was like the call of duty.

OMG ROGUE SQUADRON! I loved that game haha. I have put so many hours into that game, and I have RS II and III for the gamecube. RS III kinda sucked but RS II was pretty freakin awesome!



I have spent more hours on this game than any other game i have ever played.



Not exactly dead, you can still find servers running it but it doesnt have nearly the same support as it once did. Best FPS ever imo. the Bad Company series is crap compared to the original game. Battlefield 1942 is also very good.

EPIC WINNAR!!!! SSB Melle was also very, very good. Havent had a really good chance to play Brawl but I hear it is excellent.



This game was just great fun. So many all nighters spent playing this game.

Wasted most of my hours back across the pond playing massive LAN with friends than going to school. Not really a classic, but still pretty old.

half life 1. learned how play it when i was about 7 at a friends house. sucked at it, and scared the crap out of me. still suck at it, cause it was on pc. but i still dont know as much about old video game as you guys
