Would it be safe to use an 11.1v lipoy in my gun without a mosfet?
Is it bad for the gun?
What discharge rate should the battery be?Is there such thing as having to much discharge rate?
Im planing on getting one and would like to try it out at Zombiefest

If you run it without a mosfet your going to fry your trigger contacts.

What gun do you have? Any Upgrades? Its generally not smart to run a lipo on a stock gun. 20-30c is a good discharge rate.

what connectors will it have? deans or xt60? are you good at soldering? i had to buy a better soldering gun, flux and heat shrink tubing. is there a fuse on your wiring? lipo's burn really hot once shorted out. mosfets are well worth it, especially the ones with resettable thermal fuse (extremfire).

Some times G&G's can handle a lipo stock. but i would recomend getting a mosfet like the ones ryan or reed sells. The extreme fire one's are nice but way to pricy sometimes. I would also recomend getting a new piston and possibly motor bc the G&G motors are not the best things in the world.

We have the same gun with the same exact upgrades and I ran (or at least Devin ran when he had the gun) a 11.1v lipo. Only difference between us is that I have Reed's mosfet on mine. Contact him and get one, I highly recommend it.

If you pay a good enough fee, he will.
