Yeah . . . it stood out pretty badly . . . a quick trip to the woods makes for good items as does a trip to michaels silk greenery dept....just depends on what look you are shooting for . . . no pun intended

I want something different though, thats why i did the white in the first place, but if you guys can find some practical crazy paint jobs, send me some pics and i will try it out. But if there are no cool designs i might stick with a basic OD or Black paint job.

Re: Custom Paint Jobs
Give it a multicam paintjob. How many rifles have you seen with a MC paintjob? lol

I've seen a few, and it's hard to do a good job with MC, because you've got really smooth lines and gradients.{PWNY} Twitch wrote:Give it a multicam paintjob. How many rifles have you seen with a MC paintjob? lol
Do something simple, like an OD stock with a brown upper receiver.

My VSR10 is wrapped in 3DCamoWrap RealTree HD. Not a paintjob, but excellent camoflouge without the burden of having a ghillie wrap over it.

Re: Custom Paint Jobs
Umm...If I don't remember correctly you wouldn't let me near the spray paint? I did not even get to spray paint it. I should bring back pictures of that ugly paintjob you made...

Re: Custom Paint Jobs
I like it. It seems as if its a "show" paintjob (i.e.- the red tiger stripe AK), not a camo paintjob.

I like the OD trim on black, but I think I might try black trim on OD body.

Re: Custom Paint Jobs
Check with us at AIRDOG!
We have a vendor that can cut vinyl to just about any pattern, which serves as a good stencil for paintjobs.
We just need an example of the camo pattern.
AIRDOG is also working with a vendor on a camo process that is very high quality.
It's not paint, but a high quality transfer.
Unfortunately, the cost may be high ($100+).
