I know my opinion really doent matter, but I say it should be rescheduled to next weekend, because many people will not be comming because of the storms and the people who do come wont be playing their hardest. I mainly fear the town area, that place is a mud hole when it rains. But if it is rescheduled i'm pretty sure its going to turn out better. Yeah I was pretty excited just like everone else, but I can wait.

Problem is, this is the last weekend for most of the main folks who planned and organized it. Rescheduling would mean that many of the actual people who worked hard for planning the OP would be out of town or back to work/school. We all have really tight schedules.

Happy new year everyone, Checking the radar this am it doesn't look that good. On the up side the storm seems to be moving at a steady rate and may pass thru by 1400 then we would just have a muddy feild. Me and my peeps are on stand by, we plan to leave @ 1100 to be there by 1330. Who do I call before we head up to make sure the Op is still on?

That was yesterday. Today...it is cancelled. Guess I will spend the afternoon taking down Christmas and wondering why Punkbuster keeps kicking me off Battlefield 2:Bad Company.

Circumstances changed dude. Yes people will play in this rain but a lot of people will be turned away from it.

Aww man! We need to plan another game today.. my team is on standby at the moment as we search for a possible game or place to play at today..

due to the unceratny(sp) will will not be coming up today, however we will be playing in our woods today @ 1200hrs not a total loss for us although its not as good as coming up to play with yall in your sand box.

Look. I know you guys are dissapointed. But I can promise you no one is more dissapointed or pissed than I am. I have spent a lot of time and effort planning for this op. I have spent a lot of hours at the field building for this op. I have spent a lot of my personal money (lets just say its well into triple figures) buying supplies and props for this op. I havent even seen my family as much as I would have liked because I have been doing things pertaining to this op. But the current situation is not going to provide for the best gameplay or the best turnout. Yes it is going to rain. Check a radar. And it is supposed to get here at 2 and last until 9. Pretty much the entire game. that being said, we know the field doesnt drain well, and it will be a giant mudpit.

Hopefully you can respect the decision that I have made. We will try and reschedule this op for a later date.

Right on. I would hate for anyone to slip/fall and snap their rifle in two. Several here on the forum have done it and it sucks. I voted on the other page and plan on attending tomorrow.

Sucks that this had to be canceled but it's a hard sacrifice. Probably not a lot of people would show up because of this weather. Hopefully the next time this is scheduled the weather permits.

The weather is projected to be sunny with a few clouds tomorrow so we should be ok.
