this is interesting. looks like there's not much difference between 8.4, 9.2, and 7.4

LOL! gotta love when people dont know what they are talking about. The c rating for the 7.2? Laughing was a 20c the c rating for the 11.1 was like 10 or so based on the 15 amp rating on it

you are Incorrect good sir.... First off a lipo is 10000000 times better because they hold there voltage longer, last longer, put a higher c rating out, and so on. Also a 7.4v lipo compared to a 9.6 which puts out a little over 10volts out performes it all day long...

Your correct in a lot of ways. a 7.4 lipo fully charged is 8.4 a 9.6 nimh fully charged is around 10.5+ volts. Voltage really doesnt do a lot. The amperage is more important I have found. I have a 7.4 50c that performs like a 11.1 15c

So you are saying that I need an 11.1 50C?

i haven't done so yet, but would wiring 2 batteries in parallel (either a pair of 8.4 or a pair of 9.2) increase ROF? i think amps are doubled and voltage remains the same).

I think I just get lemons when it comes to lipos but I have found that lipos die very quickly in my guns and are hit or miss on whether or not it will increase trigger response.

You definitely got lemons then, sir. I have had great experiences with my lipos. I would never go back to any other battery.
