A&K Masada

Looking for Opinions on this weapon. I found one for 230 bucks thats a week old, and trying to decide if i'm going to buy it and sell my Echo 1 M4??

I owned one for two weeks and sold it for good reason. The internals are not up to par with most other companies. The externals are pretty nice though, but if you mess up the hop up unit to much, theres almost no replacing it.

Magpul sell hopup units with their short style barrels now, so if u break it its gonna cost money, I own a Masada for over 2 years now and i love it. The internals are NOT junk, I have been running the stock gearset on an 11.1 ever since i got the gun and it has not skipped a beat.

Well now I have found a KWA M4 (8mm GB) 8 MAG Midcaps, and several other things I dont need for 240 plus shipping. Trying to talk the guy down, but I'm thinking thats a better deal, considering I can re-sell alot of the extras, but man that Masada is SEXY!

I have had my Masada for about 6 months now. I love it. Some people hate on it (after all....it is in COD). Could be jealousy. IDK. Just go for what you like. And yes, the Masadas are sexy.

People never hate on mine, but thats probably because it does 30 rps. lol

i love my masada but there is some barrel wobble and the stock doesn't have a strong locking mechanism so 1 point slings suck.

Forgot to mention.....battery installation is a pain. But still, awesome lil gun.

Barrel wobble is easy to fix and even with a mosfet in my handguard as long as you have the proper size battery its really easy.

True..and using a stick type battery would probably be a better choice for me than a butterfly battery until I get it LiPo ready.

can we dedicate this topic to masada updates because parts are so rare?

140$ replacement barrel is pretty expensive but it is better than nothing

I think we should. And I love that hand guard you found. Makes me want to spend a hundred real quick like.

I haven't noticed any wobble on mine. And there is a video of a simple fix for the stock. I'll link it when I get home.

is it the one where he puts stronger springs in? i already tried that, and i put one spring in and it was too hard to get the other side spring out, so now it has uneven pressure when adjusting and STILL not strong enough to withstand a one point sling.
