TOP M4A1 shell ejecting AEG

This looks really cool for those die hard sim guys. It would be nice for training purposes too. But skirmishing in a field you would lose a lot of your shells because you wouldnt pay attention to where they were landing.

Maybe the shells for this will be very very cheap since they are plastic. Still, this looks very promising.

Thats actually really cool, too bad it would be way too impractical for airsoft skirmishes.

Neat but only at 270fps or so... For $675 I take a few other rifles before that one. Neat concept though.

Believe I know, I own a few Tokyo Maruis. Still does not make it ok at $675 and TOP does not have TM rep or build quality.

actually top isnt as popular as TM but they don't have a bad rep at all and made some very well made guns for the most part. I can remember there Mp40 were good in and out but im not sure about there M60's as far as internally then again TM's internals aren't spectacular in the least reverting again to the laws of Japan. I thought TOP actually ran out of business.

I thought they closed shop too. I had not seen anything from them. As far as TOP vs TM, all I know is I have a stock TM SR-16 from 2003-2004 that has had probably hundreds of thousands of rounds through it and it has never had a problem other then barrel wobble that just started. Built like a tank!!! And for alot less than $675. Not to crap on the ejecting shells but they are NOT worth an extra $350!

TM actually probably has the best internals for what comes in the gun but as soon as you put an M120 in there then everything needs to be replaced.

exactly... How hard will it be to upgrade this TOP? Cool toy but this a TOY!

It doesnt say if it has a V2 GB or not so who knows, if is V2 then obviously it will be easy, but if not then it more then likely be special parts

realism has a price. 200$ for sidearm, 675$ for primary. shoots weak(270fps range 90ft) and will probably be very proprietary to upgrade(there is an actual bolt moving!)

Don't get me wrong, It has a cool factor and maybe has a use out there somewhere. Maybe a SWAT training team for the metro-Atlanta police department would find a use for it. (Although I hope not because at $675 per gun, they are running into too many budget problems as it is!) But there really is NO use for it by an average airsofter or even a mil-sim nut! But it shoots like a 9 year old peeing on you, it has parts that are non-upgradeable, and a person would be more worried about retrieving their shells then playing a game. I guess I could imagine it working in something that uses a chain fed bullet system where you can load a chain of shells but they do not go flying everywhere. BTW: I also think there is a shotgun that uses loadable shells too.

Again as stated before it's a TOY (collectors piece ) i would rather spend $350 on a new KWA & add $325 of attachments instead of $675 on a gun i will wind up loosening the shell's

Yeah, bottom line is its a collectable and has no use on a airsoft field and theres no reason to try and upgrade it.
