no, it has tamiya connectors. LiPo's don't like tamiyas. trigger contacts will prematurely wear down from electrical arcs caused by LiPo's. mosfet is needed. it's a tight fit installing a mosfet but i managed to put an AWS microfet behind the gearbox. shimming is crucial if using 11.1v.
you can get away with a 7.4v 15c, but a 7.4v 25c will foul up the trigger contacts really quick.
