Just got a Mayflower Research and Consulting Assault Plate Carrier in CB. It fits extremely well and is very comfortable. The only minor problem I have noticed so far is that airsoft magazines go pretty deep in the 5.56 mag inserts. Easily solved by cutting up a piece of cloth and putting it at the bottom. Suggestions on pouches and other things to add?

Re: Mayflower Assault Plate Carrier
Nice! Im debating between a CB 6094 or the APC.
I really like these Hydro Carriers, MAP's are generally to bulky I find, especially up against walls or in vehicles. A nice feature of the PIG is that it is tapered from top to bottom which not only is streamline with the back of the PC but it also applies pressure to the Source bladder which distributes the water along the bladder instead of it all sitting at the bottom and sloshing around which can be felt when moving around a lot, especially when running.

I personally like keeping the front of the PC open, and just running 3 mags in the kangaroo pouch, which is easier to go prone with and allows a slung weapon to lay flush against the body more.
I also like the Esstac pouches, they have inserts that hold the pouch form when the mag is removed and also have inserts which hold the mag in without the annoying elastic straps.
Strong Hand Side

Its a bit pricey, but most likely what I am converting to once I pick up my new PC. I'm done with clone items for gear, the real stuff is just soo much nicer. Fortunately for AEG's, ACM stuff works fine without the RS recoil and the repro's get more and more accurate and reliable as the days go by.

Re: Mayflower Assault Plate Carrier
I cant speak for the 6094 but the APC is a very nice piece of kit. That Emdom vehicle hydration carrier in CB isnt CB at all so I wouldnt get that. Im probably going to be adding the Mayflower 24 hour assault pack to my APC. I thought about the PIG one but I like having something that can carrier extra stuff not just water like a MAP. If your just looking for hydration though it will probably be a perfect fit on the back of the APC and low profile.
The new additions are Marz Tactical IFAK and Medium GP.
Mayflower 24 Hour assault pack and triple mag pouch to be added.

This is My APC. These are slowly becoming a Dagger Unit Standard, along with the TAG Banshee (Which is an excellent piece of kit as well, and relatively affordable even for airsofters). On this Im running a mixture of TAG, Tactical Tailor, First Spear, and MAyflower pouches. The Mayflower Type 1 Back Panel is an excellent piece of kit. I really enjoy mine so far.

I would like to eventually get maybe a Banshee plate carrier. right now I run the weesatch, I love it with the exception of not having a cumberbund and molle on my obliques.

Contra, the Satch series is designed to be run with plates. If you don't have them, most people find it tends to sag. Cardboard and duct tape are your friends to make some on the cheap.

Re: Mayflower Assault Plate Carrier
so you're saying make plates with cardboard ductaped all over and use them as plates? I know that the weesatch takes plates, but I never thought they would help the sag...and personally I kinda just ignore the sag because it hasnt bothered me too much, hahaha...but I might have to make some makeshift plates now if that is what you are saying. Thanks for the info.
[EDIT] ok sorry...I must not have read that all the way through, haha. I will deffinantly try that and see how it works. any of you guys going to be at the game this next saturday? This will be my first game since I moved to Atlanta, so I'm pumped to get rid of this ich.

Re: Mayflower Assault Plate Carrier
Yes. Make the plates from cardboard and tape them up. I have never done this but have read that this is about the cheapest way to do it. Use enough to get the needed thickness. The tape will also aid in keeping them stiff.
What game where? I won't be playing this weekend due to Battle Assembly (Drill).
