Here in Illinois about 99% of the public events have very strict mag limitaions, for example most events allow 1 hi-cap and as many mid/low caps you can carry and no box mags for any weapons that aren't LMG/MG/Support class weapon. Now most private game are pretty much "run whatcha got". Now a majority of my team runs low/mid caps with maybe 1 hi-cap as a last stand type mag but there are a few silly-a$$es that feel that running all hi-caps is ok. So my question is how do you all down in the GA run events and mag restrictions?

Re: Mag restriction?
there have been events that have attempted to have mag restrictions.....though those are usually shot down in the planning stages...and in practice, they are pretty much unenforceable in the field unless you have enough staff to randomly check everyone at any time.milsim is still really only taking place at a personal or team level here..(since i'm figuring that's what you are asking about since people think mag restrictions are a big part of that).....while the area has a large player base, there are always a lot of newer players that are just running what they have..or ,as stated, folks with high RPS guns......
