Planning a new field near Augusta GA...

Hello,

I'm planning to start/create a brand new Airsoft field near Augusta GA, in GA side. Please let me know is it worth it ?
if you have to drive 10 to 30 miles ahead of Augusta GA towards ATL would you be interested in joining games ?
Does it make it easy or difficult for you to join a game towards Augusta GA?

Please help me because i do believe it is going to be a 100+ acres of no disturbance no non sense Airsoft Haven, but access and easy of traveling is what stops me from joining the games and i think a 100+ acres Airsoft field in middle of Columbia SC and Atlanta GA is very easy drive for folks in between.

You should open one in Macon so me and my team could come but besides that Augusta would probably be a great place to start one

I used to live in Augusta and played with a team there on private land. There really wasn't anything else available for a long distance -- Athens was 90+ miles away, and all of the South Carolina stuff was 2+ hrs at the time. The "Blue Hole" group has been putting on occasional events near Aiken, SC for awhile, but that was after I left the area.

Timm57, where do you and your team play? I am in Macon. I play with Middle Georgia Airsoft; unfortunately we are without a field temporarily. There are several of us in Macon/Warner Robbins area that play.

Two questions:
Where are you relative to Augusta?
What's the terrain like?

We've played with you guys several time were the team from dublin, were just more organized and better trained now

I'm sorry for late reply guys....

field will be near Lincolnton area and the terrain is an ongoing quest. to understand and choose what would be an ideal terrain i have been attending games and asking players on and off field for their opinions about the same issue as i have that option open for now. Do please feel free to give me your input about field, games, rules etc so when we are ready it's best experience for all players.
