This 2-day military operation is based in the outskirts of Somalia.
Following the US withdrawal in 1994 from Somalia, all military assets were promptly removed. Still in place, however, is an underground US Intelligence Agency based near Mogadishu, left from the 1992-1994 military efforts. The presence of this agency has been considered crucial by every president in power since due to its proximity to hostile powers such as Iran and other Middle Eastern countries, and the need to monitor possible uprisings that could concern the US. This agency’s very existence has been kept completely hidden from the UN to prevent suspicion regarding its presence and surveillance.
Following reports of a secret underground facility in the uninhabited Somalian desert and radio jamming and interruptions in its proximity, covert air and satellite sweeps were conducted, revealing nothing. Maintaining strong suspicions, the US requested assistance from a SEAL team stationed in Kuwait to perform a covert, on-site surveillance mission and to capture and relay intel on the rumored compound. This SEAL reconnaissance team's radio frequencies were completely lost shortly after reaching their target location. For several weeks, covert, scattered search operations were conducted. Unable to request help from the Somali government or any other world power, having carried out an unauthorized military operation on Somali soil, the team’s status remained unknown.
The case was closed after five weeks and the team’s status remained MIA.
Just days afterwards afterwards, emergency signals were received from the SEAL team, requesting emergency evacuation and relaying crucial intelligence. A chopper was promptly dispatched from the HQ of the US intelligence agency to retrieve retrieve the team and their intel. While en route SEALs indicated they were in immediate danger of detection and enemy contact, and began relaying any information they could recall to command. Having finally disclosed discovery of an Iranian chemical weapons facility developing a weaponized nerve gas strain, transmission was cut off.
Unable to avoid detection while trying to conduct this emergency recovery, the SEAL team awaiting the agency’s arrival was ambushed and captured as the chopper arrived. Small arms fire from the ground forced the agency's helicopter to retreat. Unauthorized US military presence and action had been revealed to now hostile forces.
Before action could be taken in response, politically or militarily, Iranian controlled Somalian convoys transferred the SEALs turned hostages along with the biological agent to a new site where they were to receive long range missiles to arm with this nerve gas, in a heavily guarded but highly secretive new site further into the Somalian desert.
It is only a matter of time before these highly deadly missiles are armed and launched. Deploy as US Private Contractors or Delta Force to eliminate hostile forces and disarm the weapons, or defend the site from the unauthorized US action as Somalian or Iranian forces.

NOTE: Somalian HQ can be captured and will then be considered a respawn. Should this occur, Somalian and Iranian HQ's will merge.
The green star indicates the airdrop site, where Iranian and Somalian forces have been receiving routine supply, intelligence, weapons and ammunition airdrops. When these are delivered they will contain classified, highly useful "tactical rewards" to the team which captures the airdrop.
