Airdog game 3/29/09 AAR

I thought this was a really good game. There was a decent turn out, and tactics really came into play today instead of mass firepower.

A couple of highlights (from my vantage point)

1. In the 2nd game, a group of blues and I did a really good job of laying down covering fire and we had really good communication. After a brief firefight at the beginning, we managed to push the red team back and My group swept the middle while another group of blues went around behind the red team and got most of them out.

2. In the crate game when PWNY Express crew and I had an epic gunfight with Alpine, Rhino, Zartan and a group of Reds. I low crawled a good distance to get into a good flanking position and we then managed to kill most of ya'll.

3. Zartan lighting me up. He knows what I'm talking about.

4. Also in the Crate game, I ended up getting stuck in a trench all by myself while the red team was all around me. I believe Tak noticed me. A couple of times my team mates tried to come rescue me but they ended up getting cut down.

5. Me and Rhino's duel with the heavily fortified SAW gunner.

6. My run in the last game, which Rhino and Zartan noticed. I literally ran to a bunker and got behind it for cover, having no clue that a ton of blues were right behind it.

i had a pretty good run the 2nd to last game,
first im pretty sure i was the one who got twitch out LOL
then after popping a guy on the gun, a few times i decided to move in for the kill, getting him out, then going forward to flank a guy, and then had another flank PLAIN in my site.. but.. thanks to one of my mags jamming before that game, i ran out of ammo and had to sit behind the bunker and reload while my team got my "perfect veiw kill" out ahh as the ref said.. not sure if it was zartan or tak.. sorry lol. but i could literally see the whites of his eyes

You should have ran up to him screaming CALL YOUR HIT with the empty mag. or you should have thrown your knife!

and rhino, good play today, you really had some of us PWNY guys pinned at the long bunker when you were behind that tree, it was me slim and twitch.
i was trying to sneak some bb's at the tree you were behind, .. lol didnt work

Hell you guys had me pinned down! I had no back up! I did all I could to get you guys back!

haha we had each other pinned, lol, you got me out one or 2 rounds though, i remember one i got out cause i slid behind a bunker.. i hit it and it fell over, i was VERY open, and got lit

I just knew that those Airdog guys were all Communists!
Sounds like a good game. Was it raining?

It was great weather really. Kinda cold if you were just standing around, but once we got moving it was perfect.

and besides all the pollen

I know I had a great time. Most of the time I don't get to play because of being a field marshal. But this game I was able to get in and have some fun.Got a few kills and was killed a few times.All in all great time.

yeah alpine, your patients paid off in the first match, made me and slim think it was clear on our right.. then we got lit

Thanks guys for coming out.
The smaller games are a blast.
We hope to have more pick up and private games in the coming months.

I think the best was Meritt with the M249 in the Snoopy dog house.
He did a great job laying down cover and keeping the open area of the field suppressed.
That M249 was intense after Rhino's internal upgrades!

he especialy gave russ and i cover when we got up behind the opposite teams flank haha
