Aw man...you just had to put that up didnt you? Yes I got killed 5 or 6 times. Most of them were headshots that I heard bouncing of my kevlar haha.

Re: OP: Red Dragon AAR
Well at least they weren't headshots that hit you in the face! I got hit 3 times in the face/neck, all under 10 feet. Two were actually from teammates who were right behind me in the same bunker! No worries though. I'd rather my squad be right behind me giving me a blanket of supporting fire than hanging back while I'm pinned down.{PWNY} Twitch wrote:Aw man...you just had to put that up didnt you? Hey guys, seriously, not to be a pain or anything offensive, but I notice that yall like to wear patches on your uniforms like Marine Force Recon or SF patches. I know alot of people who would be very offended by that. The man that runs Aggressors, Chief, spent 24 years in the U.S. Army Special Forces, and he caught me ranger rolling my hat once and ran me into the ground. I really don't want to offend anyone, but even if you are just role playing, getting patches like that costs blood sweat and tears, and if you have any respect for the members of those units don't wear their patches. I was eating lunch with a friend from the Ranger Battalion once and this kid walked in with a OD jacket he got from a thrift store covered in Ranger patches from Vietnam, and my buddy seriously gave this kid an earfull in front of the whole store. You might not think it but those kinds of things are symbols of acceptance and brotherhood to these people, and I guarantee if someone from an SF unit saw that patch hed rip it right off.

I concur. Not to mention your not allowed to. Correct me if im wrong but your not supposed to have any type of REAL military patch on a uniform your using for anything other than your service. I took all the patches off my dads BDU, even the "U.S. ARMY" patch. Anyway, back on topic. this game was great. Scooter, im glad i could contribute to those 100+ welts/ And TWITCH!!!! what the heck you doing on the ground. Your not supposed to get hit! You were our squad leader, thank God for the meds!!!

I was a Zombie for a couple of games and I can say that judging by the welts on my face, not to mention the blood running down from my lip and ear, that those shots would have taken out a real zombie!!!
After looking in the mirror and seeing the welts and blood, I can see why I had a hard time inspiring some of these kids to move forward! I can almost hear it running through their minds.... "Move forward! And end up looking like you?!?!?!! Ahhh... I'm good right here thank you."
Didn't like getting stomped as a zombie, buy hey, everyone has to have a turn in the "barrel". Besides, who wants a world controlled by zombies?!?!?
Chief, we found the antidote on the downed pilot. I grabbed all the stuff off of Henry the helicopter pilot while Twitch provided cover fire. We would have gladly healed you up, but you had to be a rebel zombie. I know at one point, Me, Doc, and Country Boy saw you and we all said nearly at the same time "IT'S CHIEF!!!" We're all just used to playing with you....not against you.
Tinman, you were knee deep in the fire fight near the pilot. I remember thnking that was some ballsy camera work right there. I can't speak for anyone else from PWNY, but this event was a straight off the cliff adrenaline rush.

Re: OP: Red Dragon AAR
I agree Aggressor Dog. Unless you are in, or have been honorably discharged from the military (or unit under that military branch) your not even supposed to wear a uniform indicating a branch of service. When "discarding" your uniforms your supposed to remove the branch of service and name tapes, rank, patches, etc. Most people don't remove anything.Aggressor Dog wrote:Hey guys, seriously, not to be a pain or anything offensive, but I notice that yall like to wear patches on your uniforms like Marine Force Recon or SF patches. I have old fatigues, BDU's, and even dress uniforms that where mine, my son-in-law's, or a friend's, that still have name, rank, flag, and unit patches, but none have, elite unit patches, citations, ribbons, etc. I don't have a problem with people borrowing a uniform of a relative because in a way it honors that person, but when you start to make it "your own" and you didn't earn it, then that becomes an issue.
Personally I could never wear (other than maybe borrowing it for a day) a uniform with a, branch of service, unit patch, rank, citation, etc., that I had not personally achieved.
But then again, I was in the military, and appreciate what it means to wear a uniform, and what unit pride is about, but I don't hold it against anyone who doesn't fully understand that. In most cases it's well intended.

After getting TORE UP! by PWNY Express (and others) I wouldn't have minded the antidote so I could "stop the pain" of being a Zombie!
Good game guys!!!

I am never going to live this down. Does this mean I get my own Twitch action figure?
And I actuall was calling out the positions of zombies when I was behind that bunker, and then I was pointing them out with the laser
