Hey everyone I've got an upgraded g36c with a new piston and with an 8.4v battery it shoots about 19-20 rounds per second, I really wanna put a lipo in there but I dont want my gun to internally blow up any suggestions if it can handle it?

First off what brand of G36C do you have?
First off I reccomend better wiring 16 - 18 AWG 'wet noodle' wire works the best.

Well what is your new piston, if its a new plastic piston, it will not last long, it is best to have a full metal rack for the teeth, but a mosfet is not necessary at all, wire is not necessary either but it is nice.

make sure u have ur gun shimmed correctly too... Or u will strip your gears, and like zero said a plastic piston will not last long at all

Re: Lipo internal shredding?
Even polycarbonate could strip rather easily, especially if you've got a high discharge rate.sniper2525 wrote:make sure u have ur gun shimmed correctly too... Or u will strip your gears, and like zero said a plastic piston will not last long at all

Prometheus pistons are great, heard good things about G&P polyacetel also. If all else fails get a systema supercore

Re: Lipo internal shredding?
Im getting ready to put a supercore in the CA M4 that shreds all other pistons, Im gonna see if it can hold up.... The gun has destroyed 2 deepfire titanium pistons, 1 JBU aluminum, 1 ultra piston, 1 HJFB aluminum, 1 CA piston So we will see how the super core does... I have been using them for sometime now but I dont use them often since they expensive....

Re: Lipo internal shredding?
Well dang, I might try one and see if it can handle my Rof with just the chromoly gears and the turbo and a mosfet.
