I just got my barrel for my BAR-10 and I cannot say enough good things about it. First of all I was going after a 6.01mm, primarily because I didn't want to pay the extra amount for .01mm but I'm cheap like that, and I contacted EdGI and asked them for one ported. They said they wouldn't have any more ported ones for 3 weeks, so I asked them about the 6.00mm and they said they had those ported in stock and would give me one for the discounted price of the 6.01mm (Difference of 5$ but hey 5$ is 5$ like I said I'm cheap) So it took 2 days for the barrel to get here and the packaging was great. So I installed it, and oh my goodness what a great piece of metal. My accuracy, consistency, range has improved greatly. Granted I have only done DIY mods and now the barrel and I can shoot about 9/10 (man sized targets) at around 125ft and 6/10 at around 175. (Thanks google earth) Also my gun is now at a whisper. I shot it and thought something was wrong with the way I put it back together. (I also shoot grey goldenball .30's so it's hard to see) But all in all EdGI is a great company to work with and have a great product. Love it and highly recommend them to anyone.

Nice we have some bar-10s on our team. You should buy a new bucking if you have not already. Buckings give you tons of distance over the stock ones. I just got a madbull bucking (dont buy madbull bucking for any other gun then an AK) for my JG AK-47 I installed a Systema 6.04 TB along with it and is now shooting at around 230feet ! So its definitely worth getting a new bucking if you have not already.

Yes, get a new bucking. A nineball VSR/Marui Pistol bucking will be your best bet.

I stopped by airsoft atlanta to pick up a firefly, but they were out of stock. I've heard that the nineball had some QC issues. Some have been deformed etc. I also want something hard for when I upgrade my fps.

What is happening with the Nineball, i heard that they were really consistent and better than the firefly and now you are the second person to say that they are having deformity porblems and consistency problems, is it just manufacturing.

It is manufacturing, they are putting the little raised rectangle on backwards.
They are great buckings, i will buy one for my bar 10 when this stuff blows over.
fyi the nineball is a soft bucking if my memory serves me correctly
