    No, he was pumping his mag. Back in the day, you had air fed mags.

    Yeah. On some guns, if you had an external tank, you would first have to compress the tank, then hook the tank up to a hose, then hook the hose up to the mag. The air pressure from the bottom of the mag was what fed the BB's. When you wanted to change mags, you had to remove the hose, swap mags, and the hook the hose up to the next mag. Plus, you had like a 60-round mag capacity max.

    BUT, you had blowback on some guns. And adjustable FPS on some guns.
